Stove Top Stuffing Mix - Cornbread 170g

I’ve been using Stove Top for years, but the Cornbread version is consistently my favorite. While many people only think of stuffing during the holidays, this has become a regular side dish in my rotation because it’s just so reliable. The preparation couldn’t be easier; it takes about five minutes on the stove, and it comes out perfect every single time. It’s a lifesaver on busy weeknights when I need something filling but don't have the energy for a complex recipe. The flavor profile is exactly what you want from a cornbread base—it has that subtle, distinct sweetness that balances out the savory herbs and spices. I was really impressed by how well the seasoning is distributed throughout the mix. We were introduced to Stove Top stuffing by our American neighbours when we lived in Italy. They used to buy it for me from the Base Exchange where it cost around $1. However, now we've both returned to our own homes the only way I can obtain it is via Amazon. Even at the money it now costs me we still buy it. It is part of our traditional Christmas lunch and everyone who tries it loves it. All I do is add it to a bowl with boiling water and butter in it, mix it up and put into an ovenproof dish then put it in the oven for 30 mins to however long it takes for the turkey to cook. I don't bother with the instructions which say boil it on the hob or microwave it before putting it in the oven. It's as easy as our UK stuffing mixes but a hundred times nicer to eat as it is made with good sized pieces of bread and herbs and doesn't taste like sawdust as UK stuffing mixes do. It's good enough to eat dry, out of the packet!!
