Hardware does come with the doors. There are brackets to fit variety of heights and width's of panels. They are very easy to put together with only a Phillips screwdriver needed.

Yes, the screen will attach to a narrow panel. No, it does not require a wider panel to support it. The guide is stationary on the panel the screen attaches to, so it doesn't matter how wide the panel is.
