Q: Difference between this and new model? And is this Mac and Xbox compatible?

Hello, The TCA Sidestick Airbus Edition is a product that works only on Windows PC. It is not compatible with Xbox consoles and mac computers. On macOS, the product is not functional in the system but some game like Xplane 12 support it directly.
