This is the first time that I've used this particular make of cutting blade,and I've only used it a few times so I cannot give a opinion on it's longevity, but what I can say that they appear to be made with quality steel and extremely sharp and it cuts through layers of fabric with ease,and they are very good value for money, they come in their own box which closes securely, and they are coated with a thin film of oil to protect your blades from corrosion, so up to now I'm delighted with them and I would recommend them as well
