I believe 4711 is only available as an edc (cologne). If you are seeking this scent in a parfum, Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino has a verrrrry similar scent though a bit pricey.

Q: Is this the original german cologne, or a derivative/"copy"?

I suppose it could be a copy but the packaging looks quite authentic. It's a very refreshing light cologne more like a body splash. I love it and will buy more when this is used up.
