Q: How is this antibacterial?

The “chemical” people say it “leaks” is the same antibacterial ingredient found in mouthwash. It’s inside the little colored plastic part, in the form of a solid gel. I’ve never had it liquify but I suspect people who are reporting that have soaked it in water or something, which you shouldn’t do. My family of four have used Steripods for years. You know that funk a toothbrush gets after a couple of weeks? We don’t get that at all using Steripods. Our toothbrushes actually last three months like they’re supposed to.

Q: Can the filters be replaced? Or do you have to buy a new steripod each time?

Hi, thank you for your question about Steripod Clip-On Toothbrush Protector, Green and Blue, 2 Count. The pod should be replaced every 90 days as the active ingredient weakens over time once opened. We do not offer replacement tablets for the Steripod.

I received 1 pack containing 2 steripods for $5.44. They are worth every penny. I have used this brand for years and gifted them!
