Great buy and lots of 2010 nostalgia!
Oh boy does this take back memories. The figure is great and is bringing back nostalgia from 2010 when httyd first came out. This figure and or figures* are great, packed with great sculpting and detail. I'm surprised by how much I like the Hiccup in this pack!

Excellent detail
Action figures from movies should inspire creative play. Toothless and Hiccup are ready to go on adventures with this set. The articulating joints are well-designed and feel like they'll survive play. The little pegs on Toothless' saddle fit into holes on Hiccup's legs to keep him securely onboard. I did accidentally pop off Hiccup's leg when putting him on the saddle at first, but it popped right back on its socket with no harm done. The wings on Toothless are the absolute best part of this set. They are soft and bendable. They were exactly the right detail to focus on when building this toy. The paint looks fantastic, especially on Toothless' eyes. They really captured the magic of them. From what I've seen of the movie trailer, the Hiccup figure looks pretty close. The figure looks good, even if it's not a perfect replica of the actor playing him. There's no uncanny valley weirdness going on, which is always a win. This is a solid toy for fans of the franchise. The adventure doesn't have to stop when the movie ends.

Adorable, great detail on Toothless and Hiccup
I love this new Toothless and Hiccup set! Toothless is really well made and completely adorable. The wings feel very soft and like you would imagine a dragon's wings to feel. The detail on the spine is admirable, and also the detail on the feet. I love that Toothless' mouth opens revealing many cute little teeth. The green eyes are also well painted. The accompanying Hiccup figure is also well painted with a lot of detail. This is a wonderful set for anyone who loves How to Train Your Dragon.

how gto train a dragon figurines
Just got this in and the dragon is actually nice. Pop the tail end on and he is ready to go. The actual guy that comes with it? Not so much. His leg was off and I tried to pop it back on and it will not stay. So now he is one-legged. Lol! It appears that he has one socket that is larger than the other once i took his other leg off to see how it was made. One appears to have a larger opening than the other that stays on. Well... I suppose the dragon is the main character anyways and that is the one my girls were excited to get to begin with.

Very High-Quality Toy!
I really love this Dragon and man character! They are very well-made out of high-quality materials and are quite sturdy and easily bendable! They look just like the characters in the movie! I am so glad I found them here and I highly recommend them!

Legs don't stay on Hiccup.
Hiccups legs DO NOT STAY ON all. And no it's not a feature neither leg stays on. Same with Astrid. So much frustration. Toothless himself is great. Great wing feel. But the hiccup and Astrid dolls are astonishingly bad quality. Not only do the legs not stay on, they even stop attaching on the first day. Hard to even get them out of the box with their legs on, not matter how careful you are.

Fun How To Train Your Dragon Toy - Excellent Toothless & Hiccup
I love these How to Train Your Dragon movies and am actually hoping the live action is really good. This toy is great. The Toothless figure has moving legs, tail and head. The mouth even opens and incidentally fits Hiccups head in it. The Hiccup figure has moveable arms, legs and head. I accidentally popped off the head when I pulled it out of the package. It went right back on though. The Hiccup character has two small holes on its inner legs that fit onto the pegs on the back of Toothless. The wings on Toothless are rubber which then allow a flapping motion if you pretend to fly him.Overall, this is a fun collectible for display or a great toy.
