Top-notch cable!
I now own two of these Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 cables, and honestly, they’ve been rock solid from day one. One stays connected to my Anker docking station, and the other powers my smart desk mat where I dock my iPhone and AirPods for charging. The speed and power delivery are the real stars here. Charging is fast and consistent, data transfer is incredibly smooth, and everything just works the way premium gear should. No disconnects, no lag, no weird compatibility issues. Just clean, reliable performance every time. And when I do need to move large files from my 4TB external hard drive, transfers are flawless and incredibly fast with this cable. It handles heavy data like it’s nothing. Bottom line: ultra-fast, powerful, and dependable. If you want a future-proof Thunderbolt 5 cable that can handle serious charging, high-speed data, and display support without breaking a sweat, this is an easy recommendation.

Fast and reliable
Not too much to say, its a cord, and its well-made and durable. It supports every type of standard I have needed seamlessly, which is exactly why I got it - I'm getting pretty tired of two dozen different USB-C standards and the cord being the most probable limiting factor. This solves that issue. It works seamlessly with my Samsung T9 in USB 3.2 2X2 and elts the drive transfer at full speed, and has handled Thunderbolt 4 and 5 fine. As far as I can tell, this cord is only limited by the devices it is connecting, as of this review time. None of my devices even come close to 240w of PD, so I cannot comment on that, but the cord stays cool and charges consistently up to 100w of sustained fast charging. its Anker; I'd be surprised if the cord could NOT handle 240 watts as advertised. If you want a simple charge cord or a cord for a specific purpose, this probably isnt it, unless you just have money to burn. This cable supports EVERYTHING, and you pay for that, which might be overkill if you just need to charge stuff, or use an external drive. But if you need a cord that is never the problem, and can seamlessly handle everything that you need to do, then this is well worth the cost.

Love This Cable, Works Perfectly
I love these cables and have several in different lengths. They’re extremely well made, feel sturdy, and I have not been disappointed. Charging and data transfer are fast and reliable, and they work exactly as advertised. Solid quality all around and I’d absolutely buy them again.

One cable to rule my desk
I bought the Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 Cable to tame a workstation jungle: a 16-inch MacBook Pro, an 8 TB external SSD, and a 5K ultrawide all jockeying for ports. From the first plug-in it felt like the missing puzzle piece. One cord now handles power, video, and screaming-fast data without a second thought. Thunderbolt 5’s advertised 80 Gbps lane (with bursts up to 120 Gbps) isn’t just spec-sheet fireworks. Copying six-gigabyte ProRes files to my external drive takes about as long as it does to say, “Wait, that’s it?” The same cable pushes enough bandwidth to drive either two 8K monitors or a single 8K display at 120 Hz—plenty of headroom even for future upgrades. Charging is equally impressive. Rated to deliver up to 240 W, the cable can take my MacBook Pro from dead to roughly 50 percent in twenty-five minutes while everything else stays connected and humming. No thermal throttling, no fan surge—just fast, clean power. Build quality feels premium in the hand: a thick yet flexible jacket, molded strain reliefs at both ends, and that confident click when the USB-C plugs seat. At 3.3 feet it’s perfect for desktop setups; if your monitor sits on a distant arm you may want the longer version, but for most desks this length is spot on. Price is the lone gulp moment. At just over forty bucks it’s more expensive than a standard USB-C lead, but considering it replaces two high-spec cables plus a separate power brick, the math works in its favor. My desk looks cleaner, my workflow runs faster, and I don’t miss the cable spaghetti one bit. Bottom line: If you’re ready to dive into Thunderbolt 5 and want one cord that truly does it all—blazing data, high-refresh video, and laptop-class charging—the Anker Prime is worth every penny.

Outstanding Thunderbolt 5 Cable
This review is for Anker Prime Thunderbolt 5 Cable, 3.3 ft. First this is an actual Thunderbolt 5 cable. You have to be careful when buying Thunderbolt cables since many companies interchange USB and Thunderbolt, but there is a difference. Thunderbolt cables (and maybe all high-speed cables) are sensitive to cable length. My primary Thunderbolt cable I have been using is a Belkin Thunderbolt 4, 6.6 ft. I would sometimes run into disconnects with it, particularly when backing up my Samsung smartphone. Since I was purchasing a new 40Gbps NVMe SSD enclosure, I wanted to purchase a shorter Thunderbolt cable. Initially, I was going to get a Thunderbolt 4 cable since my PC and laptop are Thunderbolt 4. However, since Thunderbolt 5 cables were only a few dollars more, I opted for Thunderbolt 5 instead. I looked at all the ones available, and on paper this Anker Prime Thunder 5 cable seemed to be the best choice. I liked the build design and that it was Thunderbolt 5 certified with 240W power delivery. By the way, I would not consider getting a cable that is not certified. So far, this cable has been a big improvement. It works perfectly with my ne WAVLINK 40Gbps NVMe enclosure. I've transferred about 40GB of files at blazing fast speeds and no issues. I have even been able to use it to back up my Samsung smartphone with no disconnects as well. This is a great cable that I have no problem recommending. Side Note: Based on experience, I recommend not going overboard on getting too long of a cable. Just get the cable length you need. On high-speed cables you get better results the shorter you can go on the cable length. If I were just running a laptop or small desktop, I would go with the 1.7 ft, but I have a super tower chassis, so I needed to go with the 3.3 ft cable. I most likely would have had less issues with my Belkin cable if I didn't go with the needlessly long 6.6 ft cable. Nice cable
Long enough for most uses without unnecessary bulk. Supports Thunderbolt 5; however, as importantly for me, supports high-Watt charging as well. Anyone who travels with a Mac and a Thunderbolt device (needs this cable or something like it.
