Timbuk2 Kindle Plush Sleeve with Memory Foam for impact absorption, Black/Grey (fits Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle, and Kindle Touch)

I prefer my Kindle naked, especially when reading. And while some would call that strange (my aunt for example), I call it practical and light. My latest Kindle purchase started me on a bit of a journey to find the right container for my little naked ereader. My first attempt was with the BUILT Neoprene Envelope Case for the Touch and K4. You can read my review on its product page, but just to sum it up, I was left feeling grossly underwhelmed. However I have to comment that between the two sleeves, the Built is thinner and softer, but for some reason I prefer Timbuk2's.So, I finally decided to try another Timbuk2 sleeve, already having been somewhat pleased with their nylon sleeve I purchased for my K2. I bought this case for my $79 model kindle and didn't want to spend a lot on a case but wanted something that would protect the Kindle on its daily trip to work and the gym with me. I'm very tough on my Kindle while it's in this case and for some reason my dog loves to walk over it and lay on it. So far this case has provided great protection for my kindle and I don't worry about it getting damaged at all, even when it is just thrown in my luggage or shoved between the seats in the car. The memory foam is great and provides good protection and I believe it would do well in falls. This case has an excellent build quality and I have been carrying it to the gym and work with me constantly for a couple months now and it still looks just as good as the day I got it. I love this case so much I'm now thinking about picking one up for my iPAD.

I use these sleeves for everything that'll fit in them now. I have one for my iPad 2, used one for my old Kindle 3, and now am using one on my new Kindle 4. I gotta say, the fit and finish on these things is outstanding. Top notch quality, durable nylon exterior and very soft liner, with a dense "memory foam" padding. I have no fear from drops or scratches while my Kindle is inside this sleeve.The only negative I can think of is the price. It is on the expensive side in my opinion considering it's nearly half the price of the Kindle itself, but you do actually get what you pay for in this case. It will last longer than the Kindle you're using it with.As long as they keep making these sleeves for Kindles and iPads, I'll keep buying them. Keep up the good work, Timbuk2!

I like reading my Kindle without a cover on it, so I went shopping (i.e. went to Amazon) looking for a sleeve for my Kindle so it'd have some protection when I throw it in my bag. I fell in love with the grey fabric on this Timbuk2 sleeve and bought when it went on sale. It's just as lovely in person as it is in the pictures. The cover has stayed pretty clean so far, but I think it will do a good job of hiding dirt. As far as the cover itself, the Touch slides inside easily but it doesn't feel loose. The memory foam provides great protection from all but the worst abuse and the plush lining on the inside keeps the Kindle from getting scratched. The cover isn't cheap, but it's very nice!

This is the 3rd Timbuktu product I have purchased through Amazon, and does not disappoint. I have had my first Timbuktu case for about 4 years now and it is as good as new. This case is just as well made and I look forward to its use for years to come. The velcro clasps keep the sleeve closed but are easy to open. The padding really protects the device. The plush interior helps keep the screen clean and prevents scratches. I have dropped my Kindle products (both eReaders and Fires) many times (I'm a klutz) and the products remain good as new.

I really love this little case. It is the perfect thing to tote your kindle around in. I did not want to make my kindle bulky with a protective case, so I opted for a travel case. Very nice. The only thing I would have liked to see was a solid form of padding for over the touch screen. Just to make me feel safer. I do recommend buying this case to all.

This sleeve is probably the best sleeve you can get. It's durable and will protect your Kindle or Nook where ever you go or where ever you put it. It's reliable and is exactly what I paid for. It came on time, not a day too soon or too late. Also, it's cheap and looks/feels great. Now I can put my Kindle Touch in my backpack with multiple books without having to worry about it breaking. If you're a Kindle/Nook user and want some protection, I highly recommend that you buy this.

I purchased this particular sleeve for my KINDLE TOUCH and I love it! It's soft on the inside and firmly quilted on the outside, making for the perfect sleeve!! I often carry my KINDLE in my purse, and I feel confident about its protection. I would also feel comfortable carrying it in luggage using this sleeve.If you're someone who tosses your Kindle into a back pack, or are hard on things, then I'd suggest something with an even firmer exterior. It's really all how you treat your e-reader!

The sleeve arrived really quickly, and is of excellent quality. I think my Kindle has a better bed than I do!

This cover is pricy but it's really good quality. Well worth paying the extraIt has nice padding and a lovely velvety material inside. My new Kindle fits in nice and snug, and no chance of it falling out.

Habe mich nach langem Überlegen dafür entschieden, diese Hülle in grau/eisblau für meinen Kindle zu bestellen. Eigentlich war mir der Preis von knapp 30€ zu hoch. Hatte deshalb zuerst eine andere Hülle bei einem Zweitanbieter gekauft, die kam aber nie an.Also doch die Timbuk2 geordert. Gestern wurde die Hülle wie immer sehr schnell und gut verpackt von amazon geliefert. Und was soll ich sagen? Ausgepackt, in die Hand genommen - und es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Die Hülle ist sehr leicht, was mir wichtig war - schließlich habe ich mich vor allem wg. des geringen Gewichts für den kleinsten Kindle entschieden, da will ich dann keine Hülle, die fast genauso schwer wie der Kindle ist. Innen ist sie mit gaaaanz weichem, flauschigem Futter, da kann garantiert nichts verkratzen. Der kleine Kindle passt gut hinein, hat allerdings leichtes Spiel nach oben und unten. Da die Hülle aber so gut gepolstert ist, macht das bestimmt nichts aus beim Transport. Die Außenseite ist wirklich pflegeleicht, wie man es von den Timbuk- Taschen ja allgemein gewohnt ist - kleinere Flecken können ganz einfach mit einem feuchten Tuch entfernt werden. Geschlossen wird die Hülle mit einem Klettverschluss - auch hier ist die gute Qualität zu bemerken, da der Klett weder zu fest noch zu lasch schließt.Das Design der Hülle ist wahrscheinlich nicht jedermanns Sache, ich war mir zuerst auch nicht sicher. Jetzt, live, gefällt mir die Hülle aber wirklich gut: schöner Grauton und die Nähte sind in einem tollen, leuchtenden blau.Mein Fazit: Wer nicht die typische Hülle im Buchformat sucht, sondern eine Hülle zum sicheren Transport und zur Aufbewahrung, ist hier genau richtig. Der Preis ist zwar wirklich nicht gerade günstig, dafür scheint sie aber sehr robust zu sein und ist gut verarbeitet. Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Hülle mich und meinen Kindle auch wirklich lange Zeit begleiten wird.

Für meinen neuen Kindle musste natürlich eine Hülle her, die ihn schützt, damit das Display nicht zerkratzt und er außerdem vor Stößen geschützt ist.Zwar sind knapp 30€ ein stolzer Preis, dennoch bin ich sehr zufrieden.Die Hülle ist dick gepolstert, so dass dem Kindle Stöße nichts anhaben können, zudem ist das Material sehr leicht zu reinigen.Innen ausgefüllt ist die Hülle mit samtigem, sehr weichem Material, die dem Display nicht schaden kann und sich sehr angenehm anfühlt. Der äußere Teil besteht aus dicken, gewebten Nylonäden. Eine Angabe über das Material ist an der Hülle nicht zu finden.Die Hülle wird mittels Klettverschluss geöffnet und geschlossen, so dass der Kindle nicht herausfallen kann. Der Kindle passt ideal in die Hülle hinein, ohne dass er mühsam hineingequetscht werden muss und auch ohne zu viel platz zu lassen.Optisch subjektiv betrachtet gefällt mir diese Hülle außerordentlich gut, da mich die Farbkombination, die in meinen Augen eher Dunkelviolett als nachtblau und Malve entspricht, anspricht und mir das durch Nähte erzeugte Rautenmuster gefällt.

Sehr gut und hochwertig verarbeitete Aufbewahrungstasche für den Paperwhite, innen softweich ausgeschlagen, aussen dicker aufgesteppt, aber nicht zu dick oder unhandlich.In dieser passgenauen Tasche scheint der Reader gut und sicher aufgehoben zu sein (ich hoffe nicht, dass ich den schockabsorbierenden Memory Foam jemals testen muß), zur Benutzung muß man ihn herausnehmen, was von mir aber gewollt war, da ich zur Benutzung den Reader gern "pur" in der Hand habe und nur ein "sicheres" Behältnis zur Aufbewahrung gesucht habe.Gute Qualität, alle Anforderungen und Erwartungen erfüllt, deshalb volle 5 Punkte!
