Yes. I've had them a year, and my cats jump on and off all the time. The holes are lined up so each goes into a stud. Nice and secure.

It comes fully assembled, ready to hang on your wall. There are even holes pre-drilled 16" apart to match standard wall stud spacing.

Q: Exactly how far apart are the mounting holes to drill? Are they exactly 16" so that you can hit 2 stud boards? I will not use wall anchors. Thanks!

The holes are designed/located to hit the studs @ 16" OC. You should verify if your studs are at 16"! Check that first in the area you want to locate the shelf.

Q: Does it come with the screws?

Yes, it comes with screws. Very well made and looks great. Our young Bengal loves it!
