Excellent rowing machine.
As most people do when buying exercise equipment, I spent an insane number of hours comparing rowers and reading reviews. I must have considered more than 60 different ones. I finally decided on this one and I’m really happy that I did:-It is very easy to assemble and all the parts are clearly marked and packaged in order. It took me about 45 minutes by myself.-It is a very compact, sturdy, well-made machine.-This was important to me: it stows easily in a surprisingly small space. There is only one pin that you remove to fold the rail, then secure it, and there are front wheels which allow you to move it to where you want. Simple!-The foot pedals are made of a durable plastic and the straps are wide. I don’t have any slipping with my feet in the pedals. The pedals do rotate slightly.-The machine is very smooth and quiet.-I am 5’9” and the rail is more than long enough.-The seat is made of a comfortable foam, as is the cover of the handle. I do wear gloves for extra grip.-The most common complaint people had about rowers in general was the level of resistance. Well my friends, this machine definitely gets more difficult as you increase the tension. A LOT! I have been using it for 2 months and I’m still on level one. I can’t imagine I’ll ever get past level 4 or 5. Now I haven’t been very active this past year so I’m not super strong, but this little baby definitely offers a significant amount of tension. My male friend, who is in great shape and trains daily, used it on level 6-7 and found it to be a good, challenging workout.-Cons: well nothing is ever perfect so I would have liked if this machine had a place to hold my iPad while I use it. I place mine on a chair near the front so it’s not a problem. The display is very rudimentary but works fine and gives me all I need to track my progress, namely time and number of strokes. It can be difficult to see depending on where you are in the stroke.I haven’t had the machine very long but I can honestly say I’m very happy with my purchase. It provides a really good workout, is super quiet and offers an immense amount of tension. It is very reasonably priced. I’ll update my review as time goes by. Good luck rowers!

Great rowing machine for the money, much better than expected, 6ft' 5" no problem
Bought this rowing machine for the family, Much better than expected, excellent quality sturdy, well packaged, Used by all 4 members of the family. from 5'6" to long legged 6'5" son, 245 lbs. Much better tension (intensity levels for harder workout), then expected, IMO, better resistance than my concept rower, which I still like. The tension is easy to change, Our daughter- in law- likes resistance 1 level. I use the 4 and occasionally the 8 for extra hard rowing for a few minutes than back to 4 etc. Highly recommend, it's quiet, easy to transport from room to room on rollers. The read out calculator gives you the basics. It's nice also that the seat is more elevated for easier on/off then most rowers, seat is comfortable. Only three minor complaints for me when assembled the middle leg not quite reach floor (Misses by 1/4 inch") but no big deal, as can either put small board under it or in my case not worry about it at all and I like the wide rowing handle but would angle it just slightly more (somewhat more like a slight V) for harder rowing(easier on hands, but no big deal). 3 Note: great foot pedals for basically all size feet, bit I'm 13 Wide shoe EEE, son 16EEEE. However I wish for wider feet that the foot stirrups by heal would be slightly wider as wider athletic shoes can be tight, but basically most any size shoe will fit even much smaller feet and the foot stirrups pivot which is great. Maybe mfgr can address(. Only had a month, but it's getting good use and very satisfied.

"computer" is not but machine is
I received 2 days ago, put it together and started my routine. First impression - it's sturdy, easy to assemble, and seems pretty good quality. Rowing is easy to maintain form, full stroke (I am 5'9") and stable. The "computer" is not really worth much except for maybe the timer. SPM is inaccurate (like 45% off). Maintaining 20 SPM with a workout video, the "computer" showed 13/14 SPM. I cross-checked by counting my strokes in one minute it it matched the video. Sure seems like a simple calculation but it fails. Unless you sync a heart strap, the BPM is useless. Not sure how they would calculate calories without essential inputs so it's probably just a guess. Overall, a good workout machine, but they really could "upgrade" the computer and make it at least accurate for the items they "monitor".

It Works Well For Me!
First off, this was delivered as requested and it was packed solid. The directions were easy, and the way the parts are packed, if you take them from their wrapper, one step at a time as they are numbered, you'll be in good shape. Certainly one person can put this together. I've had it for 11 days now, and it works well. My son wanted me to buy a rowing machine that was like the one he uses in his gym that is much more expensive. I reminded him that gym machines are used constantly during each day by many people and need to be super durable to last. This machine is stable and durable enough for me. It does everything I need it to do, and I'm the only one using it each morning, so I think it was well worth the price. I'm 71, so for anyone on a Medicare Advantage insurance plan, you should check to see if your insurance has a Wellness Plan. If you have one, chances are the plan will reimburse you up to $400.00 for this kind of home use equipment, which makes it even that much more attractive to buy. Good luck!
