I have used probiotics for years with all kinds of various results - some no results, some bad and some good. I guess it is difficult to get the formula and the capsule right so that the ingredients make it to where they need to go before becoming diluted or tainted. NatureWise seems to have figured it out. I went through a bottle of these Maximum Care Time Release formula from NatureWise before starting the Daily Care formula. The Maximum Care is 5 times more potent - so, if you go this route, be ready for a good cleaning if your innards have been neglected. It wasn't unpleasant - just thorough - with a good belly-flattening cleaning. If you have been experiencing any otherwise unexplained symptoms - from skin outbreaks to mental fogginess to varying "bathroom" experiences, these are worth a try - then switch to the Daily Care. That is what I did. I am happy with these products.The daily care formula from NatureWise, for me, ranks at the top for reliable effectiveness without any unwanted side effects. I have not had one incident of stomach cramps or sudden need to "go". I just feel better when my body is working right - and the NatureWise Daily Care formula is the one for me for daily use.

I'm am very impressed with the quality of this company's products, and I take 6 of them now on a daily basis, so I was extremely excited when I learned they were coming out with a probiotic! The research regarding gut health and it's connection to all sorts of health issues, including our brain, is nothing short of amazing! It's the first supplement that I encourage folks to start taking! I've taken many different brands over the years, and I was excited to learn that this one was shelf stable (they encourage refrigeration after opening for longer life), which I liked for traveling purposes. I was also impressed with the amount and variety of strains, and that the probiotics are combined with a prebiotic. I'm also impressed with the delivery system that protects the strains against the gastric acid destruction. I was always concerned that the previous ones that I was taking weren't actually getting to my gut! I've been taking them for a little over a month, and I've noticed that I have very regular bowel movements. I'm very pleased, and this will be my new regular probiotic!

Maximum Care Time-Release Probiotic (MCTRP) by NatureWise was sold to me at a discounted price (not free) in exchange for my honest review. MCTRP is both a probiotic and prebiotic. Which makes this product stand out above the rest when compared to most probiotics on the market. Probiotics work best taken with prebiotics fructooligosaccharides. Fructooligosaccharide is derived from inulin, which is completely plant-based - it can be found in onions, sun-choke (aka Jerusalem artichoke), chicory root, garlic, asparagus, banana, artichoke, among many others. I've tried other probiotics and didn't find them as effective as the probiotic and prebiotic blend. I've always had a problem with irregularity and MCTRP is helping my bowels become more regular (No one likes to talk about it, but it is what it is). Healthy gut flora leads to better weight management, and better overall health. About the physical characteristics of the product: large caplets, not the easiest to swallow, and they are a bit chalky and powdery (also why it got 4 stars instead of 5), but on the plus side they are shelf stable and don't have to be refrigerated (but will last longer if they are). I would definitely recommend this product. NOTE: I've also received NatureWise's Women's Care Probiotic/Prebiotic + Cranberry blend, which is why I only took this product for two weeks...had to give both an equal trial period.

Both my husband and I agree this is the best unclog! I use it on days that I know I'm avoiding vegetables! Its strong so don't leave the house!

Worked for me and fixed multiple issues. Also felt I could better digest food like dairy.

Quick Version: Less bloating, more bowel movements, and less acid reflux. Foul Flatulence for a day or two while body adjusted. Detail: I have read mixed reviews on Probiotics. The theory was great. I tried some products by other companies (which happened not to be time release) and found that basically nothing changed in my gut. Frustrated by the cost, I stopped taking them. However, I am a loyal Naturewise customer with their liver, curcumin, and vitamin D products and I knew they were a good company with quality products (so many crap supplement companies out there) that I decided to try their time release Probiotics Maximum care. I was not so pumped when my farts were...powerful...but that was short lived as my body adjusted. Once taking daily (and even during a 5 day course of Azithromycin antibiotics), I had a dramatic reduction in bloating, less acid reflux, and while I changed nothing about my diet - I was going to the bathroom twice a day - not just once. No, these did not make me have problems going poo a ton of times, it just seemed like my body had become more efficient. I also did not experience Diarrhea while taking antibiotics. Very, very cool. I have already recommended this product ( and the company in general if they are not interested in probiotics) to my friends.

very good probiotic that you can tell it is working by changing your digestion, although everyone has different circumstances and results. It is worth giving it a try, Works better than the expensive ones!
