Purchased for my 20 yr old cat who has been losing weight. She recently had dental surgery which further added to her lack of desire to eat. She doesn’t care for this straight, but she’s also a very picky eater; however, likes it mixed with her soft food. Started with a tiny bit and slowly increased amount. Noted increase in hunger. Asking for more food and more often, which hasn’t happened in a few years! She actually finishing her soft food twice a day and needing a refill, where I’ve been previously tossing her food and replenishing with fresh. Appetite improvement after only a couple of days! She’s definitely put on a bit of weight and seems more energetic (as energetic as a 20 yr old can be). Highly recommended!

It put weight on sick cat

Smells bleh but the baby seems to like it! I had to get some added calories in my 3 (almost 4) month old kitty-baby after her spay and this really aided in her recovery. She wasn’t really eating for too long and lost so much weight fast because the intubation was too rough on her throat. This was a great addition and she was good with the texture of this when a lot of other textures was a no go (even churu). The texture was rather thick - like toothpaste but stickier. I placed a dab on my finger and she licked it right up with no problem. A few dabs added much needed calories/nutition during her recovery and was easy on her throat. I did 3-4 fingers 3-4 times a day for a week along with other higher calorie options that she would consume for less than a week and she was recovering beautifully. She had become skin and bones and I was scared for her but this came in clutch. It was actually recommended by ChatGPT so I purchased right away to get to her to gain back her lost weight. Now I give her 3 dabs once a day and it’s still a great addition. She is still in her recovery - 14 days post spay but 7 days post restitch so I still have a week to go. Her eating is mostly back to normal but I feel she still needs the added calories/nutrition so this is some amazing, easy stuff! Not to mention she really seems to like it. This didn’t give her any bathroom/ digestive problems and I did use in addition to new foods to her diet (I had to try different wet foods to see what stuck without transition because.. desperation). For my baby this worked really well but she doesn’t seem to get issues with most foods. I would recommend to try if you need to get some needed calories/nutrition for a kitty that won’t eat. It was necessary for mine and I’m glad she took to it!

this stuff helps with my aging cat the urge to eat meals, if I get her off of it she gets lazy eating her meals.
