Do not buy, look elsewhere
Bought initially in April. Worked fine for about 3 weeks and then died on initial demo of project. Ordered a second one, received May 11th, dead on arrival. No documentation to troubleshoot, testing board is ongoing but without having schematic/circuit diagram troubleshooting is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Do not recommend this device. I'm have a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science/Electronics Technology. It's baffling that crap like this is available. Learned my lesson.

Works Great
Some people say theres didn't work but don't listen to them. Mine worked perfectly and still does.

Works ok but cannot accept the continuous flashing
Works ok with detection, but sometimes slow. The bigger problem for me is the constant flashing of its red light even when sitting idle. That would draw unwanted attention to this “security” device. I have reached out to the supplier to determine if it is defective or if there is a way to correct the issue. Awaiting a definitive response. Will be a return if not able to rectify.

DOES NOT WORK
I've been doing electrical engineering projects for the past 20 years. I have a lot of experience troubleshooting sensors. This sensor is straight up broken.

Not working. Tried almost every possible wiring combinations. Not even powering on.

Nicht mal die Powerversorgung hat funktioniert. Hatte mehrere bestellt, bei allen dasselbe. Hab dann von DollaTek mehrere bestellt. Die haben alle sofort funktioniert. ---

It worked for me with Arduino UNO R3. Red wire in the 5V from Arduino Black wire to ground Green in digital pin #2 White into digital pin #3 Install "Adafruit Fingerprint Sensor Library" It comes with examples. The "enroll" example lets you save the fingerprint while the "fingerprint" example scans for known ID numbers.
