Disappointed
I was so excited to receive this sewing/embroidery machine and immediately disappointed going through setup. The instructions were easy to follow but I quickly discovered the bobbin winding function will not engage. I thoroughly read the user manual and troubleshooting guides as well as watching tons of YouTube videos with no success as I repeatedly followed along the exact instructions. I consider this an essential function of any sewing machine and was also unable to get in contact with any customer support through Amazon. I bought the refurbished model because of the price point, and recommend anyone financially able to get a new model direct from Brother should do so. Otherwise, the machine is lovely and appears to have a ton of functionality!

Don’t buy refurbished
The sewing machine test test was ok just needed more tension for the stitch I chose. When I started the Wi-Fi lan set up the machine malfunction began after I connected to my WiFi to link the machine with my phone by following the step by step instructions from the screen during that process the machine malfunctioned the display would only read Brother when I pressed the help key I notice the red arrow the instructions in the manual notes the machine will not operate so packed the machine up for a return when I purchased the I hadn’t noticed I was purchasing a refurbished order because I used help from the Amazon customer service smh.

Refurbished machine died after 97 days
Broke seven days after the return window closed. Thanks for nothing, Brother!

Good but no USB
It's good for a beginner. One thing that sucks is, no USB. There is no USB that comes with it. Should of have double read it. Other than that, it's good. Excited to see what else I can do with it.
