I heard you get your Spirulina from India. Is that true?

Yes our Spirulina is is tank-grown in an environmentally pristine area in South India and is manufactured by Parry Nutraceuticals.

Does this product have a prop 65 warning on the package?

No, it doesn't require one and is within Prop 65 safe harbor limits. Our independent lab testing demonstrates this is the cleanest Spirulina. We use ICP-MS testing at a lab in Texas that shows a lead level of 0.05 ppm.

How many servings do you add to smoothies?

I usually add 1 teaspoon. It is potent stuff. It will turn your smoothie a deep green and if you add too much the flavor may become undesirable. A serving size is 1 tsp, so it makes sense to only add that much.

Can I use it for cosmetic needs?

Apologies for delayed response. Do you mean for topical use? There's no indication or warning on the packaging that it cannot be used for topical application. Best way is to mix with water and create a paste to help with acne and dry skin. It's also great for cleansing and removing toxins below the surface of the skin.
