Gread Design, Expensive, Small, Fragile--poor box
I wanted a "pet frog" and checked many--to help with procrastination as a prop for the great book "Eat that frog." I noted in reviews that many arrived broken from this vendor, but I thought I would take a chance. Sure enough, the frog arrived with a chip on a back foot, and one front let broken off entirely--so I'm going through the goat rope of having to return it to get my money back. I think the problem is that it is fragile but packed in a very tight box--making it hard to survive rough shipping. In spite of being expensive vs. its peers, smaller than I expected, and made of fragile materials. I would have given it 5 stars if it had arrived in good condition. Of all the frogs advertised, it is the most realistic and has slightly scowling eyes, perfect for us procrastinators. A further note on returns: I find it rarely necessary with Amazon, but in this case, I found the system cumbersome. I got several different lists of UPS stores for my address, and every time I backed out, I had to start all over. Also, I considered just asking for a new replacement at no cost, but with that route, after I got the replacement, i still have to return the first broken frog--and if the replacement were also broken, I would have 2 broken frogs to return--which I suspect might have been even more complex.

Broken toe, twice but I still am keeping
The frog is realistic, looks great outside with the flowers, etc. I ordered one frog back in October, liked it so much, I bought another one. However, the frog I bought in October has a toe broken off on a front foot. So what, I still like it. The frog that I just received also has a toe broken off on a front foot. Same toe, same front foot. Thought you should know.
