In 1966 the Nicklow brothers (Bill, Jim, and Tony) opened their first restaurant/nightclub in Fridley. The Shorewood Inn introduced gyros to the area as well as their famous house salad that was served family style. These unique ideas helped the Shorewood Inn establish an esteemed reputation. Santorini Taverna & Grill opened in St. Louis Park in 1995. The pasta bar, award winning Sunday Brunch and the Ouzo Express soon became Twin Cities' favorites. After 14 years in Saint Louis Park Santorini moved to Eden Prairie.
