Like last years model, this one has a built in heater for the winter weather. The heat works well and does warm my upper body. Do not buy a neck fan. They only blows air the temperature of your surrounding air. This one will actually cool the air and blow it on your head and down your back. If you need to use it all like, like myself, you are able to connect an external battery to it for continuous use. Yes, it is bulky and a little heavy, but it definitely gets the job done and is well worth the inconvenience to stay both cool in the hot summer and warmer in the cold winter! It was very well packaged with everything you need to get started. The app is easy to use and connects quickly to the neck A/C. You don't need the app to use this but the app is so much more easy to control the device. The app will show you the status of your A/C and even give you data on the charge of the battery. A word of advice though. If you are like me and have a Z Fold 6 then you will need to use your outer screen to use the app as the main screen cuts off the bottom portion of it and will not allow you to scroll down to view and use it. A very small inconvenience for such a wonderful device. Do you have neck pain? You can put this on heat to help sooth those neck muscles. Yes, an added benefit.
