Disassembled and assembled . Great miniature of government.
Fantastic ! It's very real. No problem for case ejected. And, disassembled and assembled. As spring and pin are very small and easy to jump off, it's best to take care of disassembling especially. I lost one tiny spring for disassembling. However, with an extra spring and a pin are enclosed, I did assemble. Also, trigger and safety is actually the same as real government.

Fantastic Desktop Fidget Toy and Display Piece for Enthusiasts
As someone who appreciates mechanical objects and models, this miniature M1911 kit was an instant draw. I got it as a fun, small project and a unique display item for my desk, and it's been great for that purpose. The all-metal construction gives it a satisfying weight and feel, far better than a plastic model. The 1:2.05 scale is neat – small enough to be a desktop piece but large enough to appreciate the details. The building process was an enjoyable challenge; it's a true model kit requiring focus and careful handling of small parts. It was a satisfying project, and the result is a very cool, functional (non-shooting, of course) model with moving parts that are fun to fidget with. I'm docking one star because the instructions are quite small and can be a little tricky to interpret, and some of the tiny pins and springs require a delicate touch and good lighting to assemble properly. It's not a toy for a young child. However, this is a fantastic kit for a model enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for an intricate and rewarding build that results in a great conversation piece.

Excellent miniature
Very nice mini 1911. Though it costs a bit more,1000% better than the GOAT gun version as far as quality and accuracy to the real thing. The only negative I saw appearance wise was the brass pins, but a dab of Birchwood Casey Brass Black took care of that. One caveat, if you field strip it, when you remove the slide stop, the spring and plungers between the slide stop and thumb safety are not restrained, so control them so they don't go flying, then remove them. To re-assemble, put the slide assembly and slide stop back into place, then put the spring and plungers back in from the rear, then replace the thumb safety to get everything back together.

A Fidget Toy for the Firearm Enthusiast
Well, my first attempt at leaving a review for this was flagged for violating Amazon’s community guidelines because I showed images of this disassembled with a description of the process, and Amazon prohibits showing the disassembling a firearm in a review. Really Amazon, this is just a toy replica? I have amended the review to remove the offending images and verbiage. So, this little toy replica is certainly no replacement for an inert training pistol since it fits in the palm of my hand, but it is a great stress reliever and fidget toy for the firearms enthusiast. The retractable slide, grip safety, manual safety lever, slide stop/release, and hammer all give endless fun for those familiar with 1911 pistols and I really like that it can be field stripped and reassembled just like the real thing. Do be aware that the trigger is very heavy and remember to engage the palm safety with your finger to actuate it.The trigger is fine for a toy, so don’t feel disappointed if you find it mushy with some grittiness and an extended take-up with a long reset. Trigger pull weight feels to be around 4-5-pounds, but hey, I’m not taking this toy to my Lyman trigger pull gauge.A word of caution if you decide to disassemble this, the spring and detent pins that hold pressure on the thumb safety will go flying everywhere if you are not careful. Fortunately a spare spring and detent pin are provided, but they are a pain to get back in their tube without them flying back out.At eighty dollars at the time of this writing I do think it is overpriced, as this seems like an exact copy of the same thing made by GoatGuns, which sells for twenty dollars cheaper and comes with a display stand and can even be regularly purchased from them on sale. If this was comparably priced, then the creativity in the design makes this worthwhile, but I would just get a GoatGun before purchasing this version.

The teeniest .45
Functionality is spot on. Everything is simulated well from the beaver tail to the slide release. It comes with dummy rounds as well so you can get the real feel.

Held together with cheap glue & pins
Held together with cheap glue & pins. Fell apart & into pieces within less than a day, which is especially disappointing after an initial satisfactory examination. Not worth the price.

Breaks easily. Overpriced.
It's a nice little model, but the thumb safety pin broke off during regular use and now it's not functional. For $80, you would expect better quality. Be very careful handling this if you purchase. I would say it's overpriced based on what I recieved. GOAT guns are less expensive and have a better brand name.
