My order was shipped and sold by Amazon. When I put it in the cart on April 8th it was advertised as 12 packages of 4 rolls of toilet paper. When I received it yesterday it was 1 package of 4 rolls of toilet paper. It isn't just third party sellers, Amazon should be ashamed for charging $9 a roll. In fact, in some states with an emergency declaration, Amazon could be prosecuted by that states Attorney General for raising prices unless the manufacturer raised prices. Buyer beware.

Q: why is this twice the price of residential toilet paper?

Definite price gouging here. I purchased this product by the case every 6 months prior to COVID, and it cost about $35 for a case of 12 4-packs. So, 48 rolls total. That puts them at under $3 per 4-pack, making current price of $30 each a markup of more than 1000%.

I just received a package of 4 as well, instead of my normal 48 rolls through subscribe and save. They charged me the virtually the same as 48 rolls! I got on Amazon Chat with customer service who said "I totally understand why you would feel that way however I am sure that you are aware of what is currently happening in the world and due to supply and demand these items are limited "However we wanted to ensure that you do receive your order on time and so we had it being delivered and you were not charged the same price". My order was not on time, the quantity was changed without my permission and I was charged for 44 rolls that I did not receive. THEN, they wanted me to send it back to them in order to get a refund! Price gouging and criminal to take advantage of people during this time!

This is like regular 2 ply just dissolves fast but can get it at Walmart for 2.49 a 4 pack. Unfortunately no one has tp right now!
