Hi, there! The range of the operating temperature is -4℉ to 158℉ (-20 ℃ to 70 ℃). I recommend you to use it within this range, it may work at a higher temperature, but it may aging the components. All in all, I think it is a good system, worth the expense. Enjoy the system!

4 feet. Yes it has a microphone. I have the control unit in the rear of my right saddle bag and the control button mounted at the base of my tank just in front of my seat on an Indian Roadmaster. All camera and control lines are long enough to route with some left over which I coiled up.
