I received the Prime-Line R 7265 Drawer Track Back Plate to replace a missing piece on an old dresser, but I ended up using it for a custom project, and it worked perfectly. Perfect OEM-Style Fit: This back plate is made of sturdy, off-white plastic and is exactly the size and style you'd expect for this specific type of metal drawer track system. It’s a reliable, no-frills component designed to hold the end of the drawer slide firmly against the rear cabinet wall. It measures 3/8 in. x 1 in. and installs easily with standard screws. Great for a Floating Drawer: My favorite application was using these to create a floating drawer inside a new shelving unit. Because this piece securely holds the slide rail to a vertical surface, it allowed me to mount two slides directly to the back wall of a cabinet (using the track and this back plate), essentially creating a hidden, self-contained drawer box that appears to float between the side panels. For any custom work or repairs where you need a solid connection point for the rear of a center-mount track, this is an ideal part. Good value and a great match for the original broken back plates. They feel sturdy and fit the profile perfectly. The only tricky part was installing them—reaching all the way to the back of the dresser made it a bit challenging to get the drawers closing perfectly even. Otherwise, the plates themselves work exactly as expected.

It was easy to install. Kind of wish the product came with more screws, but other than that It works fine.

This item worked great to replace the broke track back plate that had been installed for my kitchen drawer.
