Bought this for my son because he wanted to make his own ones squishies and it was very easy for him to use. The instructions are simple and the squishies came out exactly like the ones we bought for more than half this price and he was even able to make about 6 of them

This make your own squishy kit has everything you need to get started making your own squishies. Instructions are easy to understand and everything works well. I made the mistake of thinking the little pots contained paint so instead of mixing it in with the liquid I put some in the mold to color the little pandas ears and limbs like I would if I wanted to do a cute painted resin charm. The little pots don't contain paint and it never dried and the squishy didn't absorb the pigment when done this way. I do wish that the molds were bigger or that we got maybe more than 2 because it gets kind of boring to make the same 2 things over and over in different colors unless you have other molds handy that would work with this.

listing said it was transparent (clear) but it was not. formula is cloudy 🤦🏾‍♀️🙃

My 9 year old loves making squishes with this. We happen to have some silicone molds and this actually made quite a few.

As a STEM enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for projects that not only engage kids but also spark curiosity—and this squishy-making kit seemed like the perfect blend of science, creativity, and sensory fun. The concept is great: a hands-on chemical reaction that produces something tactile and trendy. It also seemed like a great fit for children with ADHD or sensory processing needs. The kit comes with a generous array of supplies, which I really appreciated. It includes paint for customizing, flocking powder for that fuzzy texture, individual storage bags, and clear instructions. From a project perspective, it’s engaging and easy to follow. Unfortunately, the durability of the final squishies was disappointing. The first ones I made tore almost immediately and had fissures before any real use. I remade the project more carefully the second time, and while it held together a bit longer, it still developed tears after a short period of light use. In summary, this is a fun, creative kit that kids will likely enjoy making—but the final product doesn’t hold up well over time. It’s great for the experience and hands-on learning, but the short lifespan of the squishies does reduce its overall value. Please note you will find some stickiness in the project but I did find that after rinsing it off with water the stickiness for this particular one was reduced unlike some of the other ones that I've tested.
