Excellent textbook. I used it in a Russian course recently. Great exercises and thorough content.

The first several lessons were written in pen and at least half of the book had answers that had been whited out. From the description, I thought we were getting a book with erased pencil marks. Disappointed with purchase given the amount I spent for it!

Has some decent review material, but watch out, there are at least three areas where the instructions are extremely vague, and a few places where you'd just have to happen to know things in Russian popular culture that aren't covered anywhere. Luckily my professor agreed and was lenient on these points.
