Walker Edison Mid Century Modern-TV Stand Console with 3 Drawers and Closed Cabinet Storage, 60", Walnut

Pros first: It looks really good, and I'm really happy with it! Sturdy piece of furniture with nice weight to it. The size is perfect for my needs, and I found little else on the market with similar measurements and features. The holes in the back for cables (seen in Amazon's 360 view) came with removable cut-outs covering them. I didn't want holes back there, so I left them in. I was wondering how I'd cover them to keep things from falling out the back, so I was pleased I don't have to worry about it. Important about assembly: This was not a quick project. My son is good at putting things together, so he offered to take on the assembly for me. The cabinet arrive flat packed, and the box was very heavy, so my son opened the box and brought the pieces in vs pushing the box into the house. The instructions are in a 31-page booklet, and you need to be sure to read the whole thing since important info is at the front and not repeated later. It took my son 3.5 hours doing it all himself. It was hard for him and my other son to move it into place due to its bulk, but they got it there. Cons: The drawers are hard to open if you close them all the way. I have joint issues and the cabinet isn't in a high traffic spot, so I'll keep them most of the way closed vs completely shut. The top is a touch rough, but I only noticed it when dusting with a microfiber cloth. It may just be my cabinet that's like this, though.

This product exceeded my expectations! It looks amazing as a console under our TV. When you order furniture from amazon it’s hard to tell what your going to get. The quality is amazing and a steal for the price - it looks like a west elm piece. The material is wood with a few laminate pieces in the back. It looks incredible I had 0 issues putting it together. It took me about 2 hours by myself. I would recommend using a drill if you have one just made it a little quicker (I have the ikea drill set) . The directions were pretty easy to follow. If you have put ikea pieces together - this piece was way easier and the quality of the parts and hardware were significantly better. I cannot recommend this piece enough it feels sturdy and really brought our living room together. The drawers and cabinets are a great size perfect for storing board games, books etc. Love it!

I love the looks of this cabinet, but the assembly was painful. I have recently moved and have assembled multiple pieces of furniture by myself (king bed, futon sofa, dining table and chairs, chests of drawers), and this cabinet was by far the most complicated piece. It was the only piece I have actually had to ask a friend to help me with. Also, two of the holes were too large and I had to improvise some padding to keep the screws in place. The cabinet looks great when assembled but I wouldn't want to go through this experience again.

Very solid and sturdy. A little more red toned than expected but still beautiful. Drawers need a good tug to open but run very smoothly. Doors make a bit of noise when closing because there’s nothing to catch them. Wish it had soft close doors but for the price it works well and is beautiful. A bag of extra parts was included, which was a nice touch.

Beautiful, heavy piece containing lots of storage with attractive hardware. The mid century modern look and clean lines really refreshed my dining room. It was more on the difficult side to put together but not impossible. The middle drawer kept falling apart after following instructions. I emailed Walker Edison customer service to get new parts for the drawer. This took a couple of weeks, but Mildred assisted me and was kind enough to send the parts I needed. After situating the faulty middle drawer, this piece is an absolute showstopper. Many similar looking pieces cost 2 to 3 times more.

I got this product to use to store china (which would be lighter than a TV and all it's components). I like the look of the product, and it was not that difficult to put together. The issue is, it is flimsy and the wood used has a cheap finish that just brushing against it will knock the finish off. I don't expect this product to last very long! It also feels a little wobbly (scary)! This is even with gluing the wood dowels in place and properly tightening all the connectors. I do not think it was worth the amount I paid for it. That said, if you can get the item for under $200 and get maybe 5 years out of it, it would be worth it. I paid more than that, and I will be lucky to get 5 years. Haven’t made it a year and the fake wood is buckling. This product is not worth the money I paid. See the pictures that show the wood is warping and the drawers no longer sit flush. I have central heat and air and this has happened. I can’t imagine how poorly it would do if you didn’t.

This item was packaged very well arrived in great condition no damage. I was able to put this together myself except for the doors they are very heavy I needed help. The instructions were the best made it very easy. Instructions should always be like this! I am very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider buying other pieces from this brand. It looks much much expensive than it was in person. Highly recommend it’s lovely and functional!

For starters, the delivery person leaned it on my building and marked “handed to customer”. I was at work when it was delivered, so no it wasn’t. It fell over bc of placement and the box was damaged. All seemed okay at first. The box was heavy so I decided to bring up a few pieces at a time. As I grabbed pieces, I noticed scratches, most of which probably didn’t occur from the box’s fall (it was well packaged on the inside of the box so it seems it was packaged with the damages). It wasn’t “that” hard to put together if you’re paying attention. Lot of step. The holes on the back didn’t line up with the backing piece so I just threw it away bc it’s against the wall. Leaving it open for wiring and access to plugs will be fine, but it did reduce the sturdiness when it’s not super sturdy to begin with. Looks wise… From a distance it’s fine. Kind of like a 20 footer. I wouldn’t purchase again. I’ll probably move it to a less visible room but I’ll need help bc it’s a POS and will prob fall apart.
