Great performance for the price.
I would like to start this review by saying that I have very limited experience with mechanical boards. I owned an EYOOZO keyboard which I modded quite a fair bit, but a lot of boards around this price bracket tend to be very similar to it. For the price ($44 for a new product at the time of purchase), this is a very good buy for anyone looking for a quality compact mechanical keyboard that has hotswappable, non-Outemu switches. I ordered the RGB model with Gateron G-Pro Reds, and they feel fantastic (I know there must be a million switches which must be more expensive, feel and sound better, but for the price, I expected a worse experience). A bonus is that this keyboard is not a 60% but a 65%, so it includes arrow keys and a couple of extra keys such as Home, Page Up and Page Down. I would have replaced Home with Delete (You can still access it if you switch the keyboard from Mac mode to Windows mode and you use Fn1 + [ ) but at least they are accessible. I use the arrow keys a lot for a game that requires them, so it is a pretty good deal. The RGB effect, while smooth, it is not very bright. It does offer a plain white backlight if you need something a bit more professional, so there is that. The sound of the keys is very good for the price, although the keycaps are a bit thin. You could upgrade that easily, though. It comes configured with a Mac-friendly layout, but it does include keys for Windows, as well as an extra set of red escape/lighting keys, as well as a good keycap puller and a switch puller. In terms of connectivity, it can connect to 3 devices via Bluetooth, or you can use it wired with an included braided USB-C to A cable. It is a bit on the short side but it is a quality cable. This is very important if you are using it with a computer, since most (if not all) BIOS menus are incapable of using Bluetooth as an input. It should connect as well to Linux distributions, Android and IOS, but I have not tried that. One thing that might annoy you is the lack of QMK/VIA support, specifically because of the lack of keys and how they try to fix it. Granted, a lot of wireless keyboards at this price range also have that same issue, so it is not exactly a dealbreaker. All in all, it is a very good keyboard. If you are not interested in modding, it will be more than satisfactory for your needs of a quiet, compact and quality board. If you are, it does give you a lot of options other keyboards simply do not in this price range.

Overall, my favorite keyboard, and I'm very picky.
This keyboard is amazing. I really love these small keyboards without the number pad so that the keyboard is right in front of you instead of my mouse constantly bumping up against the keyboard. I also really like the minimal key travel like you'd find on a laptop because key travel just feels like wearing heavy boots and mud on my fingers. The illumination is also a huge benefit at night and it's fairly affordable for what it is. I'm used to using the think pad keyboards that are pushing over $100 now and sometimes they break when sticky fingers get into the keys. There's really no way to repair them but with a keyboard like this one it's a cheap price where it doesn't matter you can just buy another one. It's more affordable and allows me to purchase the same keyboard for all my computers which is preferable to keep all keyboards the same rather than some with a Macintosh layout and some with a Windows layout. This one has the control key all the way to the bottom left whereas my other keyboard from think pad the control key is one or two keys from the left side. This makes it a constant pain where you're trying to copy and paste and you realize you're on a different computer so the key combination for control C is different. I'm really picky when it comes to keyboards, and just in front of me I'm counting. Five keyboards, and I've got a closet full of keyboards that I've used over the years, and currently this is my favorite keyboard, and that says a lot coming for me. If there was only one suggestion for improvement, it would be nice if there was a little bit of cushion in the key, but I wouldn't want to give up minimal key travel. So I won't even take one star off, this is an amazing product.

great keyboard
been using it several months now. Great keyboard. love the binds it offers and how slick and compact it is on my desk. Not a fan of the default colors. hard to find caps that have 3 keys in one also for number row/ f1=f12/ windows quick keys. I did change majority to pudding caps and it looks sick with them. Not a fan of the key switches but ofc they are interchangeable. Brown isn't quite silent like you would think, but maybe that's because the keyboard has no sound deadening built in. Has that tap sound just no clicky. RGB is pretty cool. Switched from razer where you could customize all, like the simplicity really. Just want to plug in and play. Haven't used the bluetooth a whole lot but have connected it to my iphone and works lol! Was different and though that could come in handy one day too.

Love the functionality on this. Haven't had any issue with keys not registering or long presses over a Bluetooth connection so far - I did with another brand of keyboard I got off Amazon, but this one by Keychron completely exceeds expectations. Can quickly switch between PC and iPad via Bluetooth connection. RGB looks great, if you're into that. Packaging was great and made it feel like a premium product. Comes with keycap puller and a switch puller - the switch puller is a bit flimsy and I'll never use it, but hardly an issue since if you're planning on hotswapping anyway - you probably already have your own tools or they are pretty cheap on Amazon. I got the ones with the Gat blues, I don't care for clicky switches but it was the cheaper option and I plan to swap them out anyway. Definitely worth and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Great keyboard. Keypress feels nice. RGB lighting is worth mentioning.

My "Q" key was not working from the get go. I got in touch with Keychron India who asked my to mail them the invoice. On receipt, they replied that they can't service the product even though its under warranty as it was purchased by Mackeys rather than Keychron itself ! This is ludicrous ! Does any company refuse to service their products because you bought them from a different outlet, even within the same country???

Well made, easy to use keyboard with nice switches. First time I ever used Brown switches. I spent a lot of time overthinking the switches. If you are in a similar spot - Brown feels like a good place to start. They are satisfying to type on, a bit noisy but still great.
