We stand by our use of Chicken by-product meal. In fact, the by-products we use, such as liver, lungs, heart...etc. are more nutrient dense than a typical cut of muscle meat. And being classified as "meal" simply means that it has all the moisture removed. And, since most organ tissue, including muscle meat, is primarily made up of water, a by-product meal is several times more nutrient dense by weight. By-products may have a bad rap in some circles but science says otherwise.

It is a very good food, but this type is designed for large breed dogs

Q: My bully male is 60 lbs at 6 mths old. 12 c x 1 1/8 is more than 13 cups?

According to the chart on the bag, a 60 lb pup at 6 months would be less than 5 cups. The cups listed in the chart is daily (once, or split into multiple meals). You would not feed 13 cups.

no cup in the bag...I just use a plastic scoop..
