This is fantastic!
Excellent and better than the backup cameras in newer cars. There is nothing I do not like about it.

Inexpensive camera option
This camera is pretty good. It is easy to install and use. I don’t like having to run a wire from the outside into the car, but that at least will keep it working unlike other wireless cameras that lose connection easily. The screen is a good size and I like the power button on the plug. I also like the guidelines, that is such a helpful feature. This camera is also a great price for what you get.

CAVIDEO's Feature-Packed IP69K 1080P Car Back-Up System
The media could not be loaded. 5-Stars for its simplicity, affordability, and true plug-and-play. Not because it is the best system out there. Bang-for-the-buck rating.Let's look at the CAVIDEO backup camera, beyond just the fact that 'it works' and is truly plug and play. This isn't just a basic camera; it's a feature-packed system that brings serious value. But, yes, you can plug it into your cigarette lighter and get instant power.First off, the specs are 1080P resolution, and it shows. The 4.3" LCD does the job, but I can't speak to the mounts yet, although I'm not concerned as I can use adhesiveVelcro, etc., if needed. The IP69K waterproof rating is a major plus for the cam, ensuring it can handle any weather.Motion detection is a standout feature. You can adjust the sensitivity, and the auto-alarm beep is a nice touch. It's not just for parking; it adds a layer of security while driving. And you can turn it off in the monitor settings, which is nice. The signal stability is excellent. No lag, no interference, just clear, real-time video. The DIY installation is straightforward, but running the wiring will take a little time, but barely with the help of zip ties and a sheet of cardboard to lay on. The 26-foot extension cable will be very helpful. The monitor settings are basic, allowing you to adjust brightness, resolution (720P/1080P), saturation, and more.Overall, the CAVIDEO backup camera is a solid choice. It's affordable, feature-rich, and reliable. And remember, even with all these features, if an animal steals it the way one does in my video, you'll still have a story to tell. That's mine and I'm sticking to it.Value for the money: As earlier mentioned, I feel for the price, and it worked as soon as I plugged it in that it has good value at this price.Fit: Easily install simple attachments to a license plate or the use of adhesive strips elsewhere. The screen is compact and there are options with a little creativity. I might need to use a Velcro strip to get it to stay on the suction bracket, but I may not understand it yet.Key Specifications:- Display: 4.3" LCD- Resolution: 1080P/720P (Adjustable)- Waterproof Rating: IP69K- Viewing Angle: 170° Wide View- Motion Detection: Adjustable Sensitivity, Auto-Alarm- Signal: Stable Digital Signal- Power: 12V DC (Cigarette Lighter)- Installation: License Plate Mount, Windshield/Dashboard Monitor- Cable Length: 26ft Extension- Features:- Adjustable Brightness, Saturation, Contrast- Image Flip- On/Off Beep- Warranty: 1 Year Manufacturer, 3 Year Aftersale Technical SupportI hope this helps!

Great camera and relatively easy to install.
A decent camera with useful features. Obviously, it’s designed for an older car without a backup camera, but you can use it in other ways: A front or under-body camera for off roading. On the front of a motorhome. On the front of a car for hooking up to a motorhome. Be creative! The screen has decent resolution and brightness. It has a graphic that shows three zones: Red (~5 feet), Yellow (~5-10 feet), and Green (beyond 10 feet.) It beeps when it detects objects or pedestrians. It’s also compact; the screen is 3.75 x 2.25 inches (with a .25 inch bezel around it.) The camera works well at night, picking up detail and color, although the image gets grainier the darker it gets (which is expected when you turn up the gain on a camera.) The camera is very small so can unobtrusively mount anywhere. You either screw it into place or use the included double stick tape. The screen sticks to the front window with a suction cup and it plugs into a cigarette lighter outlet. Amazon description of product is excellent.Parts included: Monitor screen, camera, a long cable to connect the camera to the screen, cigarette lighter power cord, suction cup mount, mounting screws and double sided tape. Here’s the kicker; there’re no installation instructions! But someone with basic handyman skills can easily figure out how to install this unit. Here’s what you do: Mount the camera to the back of the car, usually near the license plate (using included screws or sticky tape.) You now have to run an 18 foot cord from the camera to the dashboard. Good luck, especially if your license plate is on a hatchback door that opens up. You may need to drill a small hole to feed the cable into the body of the car. Now run the cable up the chassis to the engine compartment, using cable ties (not included) to attach it to the car’s frame. Find a way to feed the cable through the firewall into the cockpit then up to the top of the dash where you’ll mount the monitor. Whew! The nasty part is over. Use the suction cup to attach the screen to the window, plug in the cable, then plug in the power cord. The other end plugs into a cigarette lighter outlet.Pros - Decent image. Small camera can be mounted anywhere. Relatively easy to install: No wire splicing needed (uses connectors for everything.) No need to find a 12v power source as everything is powered from the cigarette lighter. Pedestrian/object detection and beeping.Cons - You have a screen mounted to the windshield with a suction cup. You have a power cord running from the windshield over the dashboard to the cigarette lighter (maybe you can find a way to run it through the back of the dash. Yup, drilling another hole!) No installation instructions (but as you can see from my explanation, you can figure it out.)
