Good little meter.
Easy to calibrate with known lab grade pH cal standards. 4,7,10. Compared this meter to lab a grade Hach ph meter and the readings were spot on after calibration.Comes with a sponge in the cap and a little sample cup that allows the meter to sit in the solution being measured.

Useful, accurate and easy to use
I use this to do spot water quality tests on the water coming from the private well that feeds my home. For the most part, it's easy to use and is as accurate as any tests I've tried. TDS, Salinity, ph and conductivity are easily determined from a single test sample in under five minutes. Of course, it would be ideal is the unit could also test for additional contaminants (iron, nitrates, chlorine, etc), but for what it offers, this is a great probe that gives you a quick understanding of whether you've had any changes to your water quality.Definitely a good way to get started with water quality testing.

Great portability with pretty good accuracy and precision.
I am a senior chemist in an environmental laboratory and have used ExStik II quite a bit already mainly for measuring conductivity, temperature, and pH of solutions used in liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. It has an excellent response time (pretty quick) and is the most accurate you will find without buying a separate pH meter or conductivity meter. This unit is VERY portable. I will say that the unit is NOT so accurate at very low conductivity(lower than 5uS/cm the error may be 2-3uS/cm). It IS reproducible from dad to day measurements though.

You get what you pay for
Works fine but display is too small to read easily. Be sure to store the sensor in pH4 buffer for hours before you try to use it.

Good and handy
This is a decent meter. Overall, it seems to be well constructed for the price. I like being able to do conductivity and pH on the same meter, which this meter does fairly cheap. I wish they sent buffer solutions in the box, although I have heard of some cheap ways to make your own. I like the temperature readout, too.I think with more buttons it would be easier to scan through the different modes and menus, like what if there were dedicated keys for each unit?

Disappointed
Very disappointed.I've now had 2 of these units quit calibration.1 will not calibrate pH the other will not calibrate ec.They work well for a couple months and then just won't calibrate any longer, change the probe calibrates then stops reading correctly tried new solutions tried soaking the probe tried resetting the meter changed the batteries and still not working. It's really ashame because I like these meters they are easy to use but even with proper care they just don't last very long

There is a reason why these are the standard
I bought several Chinese knock offs before buying this one.Yeah, this is the one to have. Instantly gives you PH and TDS readings. Guess I'll toss the Chinese cheapies.

Stopped working after 2 months
The first month with these meters was great but after only two months they will not calibrate and give left-field readings in solutions with known pH values. I would not recommend if using in a professional capacity, the manufacturer does have a decent warranty though so that's why I'm giving it two stars. The probe end went bad, that is most likely why they stopped functioning correctly, but that should happen after years of use not 2 months. Also was made aware that the whole meter is considered a "replaceable part", really not happy about that. If you need a good meter at a professional capacity and have the money, just get a YSI
