Does not work!
This stuff does not work!!! I removed all the dead grass in the spot so I was laying the seed down on fresh soil. Watered slightly right after then let the normal cycle take place over the next days. it's been over a week and nothing is growing. Not sure if I can get my money back. I wonder if I received a bad batch.

Use cultivator tool
Piease use a Fiskars rotery cultivator tool too break up the Ground before seeding bought on Amazon. Works great that way. Green grass in about a week.

It’s ok.
I have two small dogs and a few areas near the house that have been burned by their urine. I decided to give this a try. It worked ok in that yes, the seeds did germinate and I had some grass after a few weeks. In order to prep the area, you have to remove all the dead grass so you’re essentially planting on bare ground. The problem was that the seed within the mulch mixture seems to be much too sparse to really fill it in. In the first picture, the spot is about 12x6 inches at its widest. you can see small tufts of grass despite me having generously covered the entire area with the mixture; however, there are still large bare patches that didn’t seem to include any seed. The second picture, which was a much smaller area (about the size of a small fist) filled in better. Bottom line, I think it works better for very small patches, but the mixture itself does not include enough seed to repair larger areas. I will most likely end up repairing the larger areas with sod.
