Q: What's the difference between scanpan pro and ctx?

The major difference is that the CTX can be used for induction cooking, whereas the pro would require a conductive plate below it. Both have great nonstick surfaces that last very well as long as they are cared for as the instructions say. I have found that the scanpan classic is better for browning (e.g., sausage) than either of these, so I have all versions.

Q: What is the exact inside and outside diameter of the 12.5" pan? Please measure this at the very top of the pan. Thanks.

Not having perfect metrology tools in my kitchen I would put it at 12 5/8 (12.625)ID and 12 3/4 (12.75) ODAlso the inside bottom of pan at beginning of curve 10.5. BTW I LOVE this pan!

I purchased a 12" Scanpan Professional fry pan from Amazon 2 years ago. It is clearly engraved on the bottom that it was made In Denmark.

Q: Does the bottom stay flat? My non-stick pans get concave in the middle for some reason

Yes it does stay flat. I tried scanpan because my previous pans would scratch easily and warp. This pan does neither. I can use it with high heat settings but usually don't as the heat distributes evenly. One of my scanpans has been in constant use for past few years and still looks new. It does get some minor marks on surface with so much use but they do not affect the non stick surface. I have slowly replaced all my pans with Scanpan and have given a few as gifts. I have a square one for pancakes for the kids and it is still flat and works great. Hope that helps
