Recommended for nursing moms returning to work
Extremely helpful. I would not have been able to pump at work without this. & I actually got more output from this than the spectra wall plugged one I received through my insurance.I am pretty slim, so it was noticeable when worn and I could hear it vibrating at work when in use but others said they couldn't hear it / didn't notice it (I work in an open office). Additionally, I was able to walk around and continue pumping while wearing this. The only issue is it does tend to spill if you bend over, but I could manage squatting down rather than bending over once I noticed that. I also had to order several spare parts to pump enough while at work, as I was not able to wash them until I got home.I would definitely recommend this for moms returning to work, as it makes the pumping / continuing to nurse journey more feasible.

life saver for moms on the go
postpartum is a TRIPPPP and this really helped to take some of the stress off of being an exclusive pumping mom. We could leave the house without me having to stress over getting home within 2 hours to pump again. Its just as strong if not stronger than my medela pump in style wall pump. I have used this from 2 weeks postpartum to 5 months postpartum and it is hands down one of the best purchases I have made. my left breast gets reoccurring clogs and this pump i can change to a higher setting and get it sucked out whereas my other pump and my child cannot. its a life saver

Don't waste your money
My husband bought me this and I didn't read reviews before we opened it. Big mistake.first time mom here, I use the spectra as my primary pump and was sick of being stuck to an electrical outlet all the time qnd for when i return to work. Here's why the willow is totally unusable:1. Assembly sucks: It has to be assembled *perfectly* to work and even then, it works 33% of the time. I waste 10 mins every time i try to pump just troubleshooting why it won't close correctly.2. Getting it in position to actually work: j wear a pumping bra but because of the design, you can't see if it's working without stripping down so you better hope you don't accidentally reposition it when you put your clothes back on because if it goes out of position, you wasted 25 mins pumping air. The suction is light so its hard to tell if it's working correctly. This makes it less of a wearable pump and more of a hand pump, defeating the whole purpose of the design of discretely pumping. And yes it is loud.3. Too many parts: It takes 5-10 mins to wash all the parts thoroughly after each pump. There are 5 parts per side and you can't leave it in the storage receptacle, you have to move it into a bottle. You also have to charge it after 2-3 uses. Which brings me to...4. Expensive add-ons needed: They don't include the freaking charging base, differently sized flanges, or a receptacle that can hold more than 5 oz. So get ready to spend an extra $40-$50 for the things you need to use the pump conveniently.5. Return policy: you can't return upon opening. Period. So you're taking a $250-$300 gamble just opening the package.I haven't tried other wearable pumps, it seems that these are common issues so I'm just going to suck it up and use my spectra. Good luck.

Worth every penny …
I was skeptical based on some of the negative reviews I saw but this pump has been truly amazing. I have flat nipples and large breasts so I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to tandem pump and nurse my baby successfully. However, the gentle suction got double out of one breast what I typically got out of both when hand expressing with a manual pump or my haakaa. It’s also much quieter and more convenient to use than my spectra for overnight pumping. I still use my spectra on a daily basis but not having to worry about the cords and tubes at night when I’m tired has been great. The only drawback to these pumps is that there are so many parts to disassemble and put back together but, once you’ve done it a couple of times, it’s really not that bad. Just make sure all parts are dry before reassembling and then gently tug on the diaphragm before attaching the clear flanges to the back. I haven’t had any suction issues since. Also, make sure to get fitted for proper insert sizes with a lactation consultant for the most comfortable experience since the 24 mm flanges that come standard with the pumps are much too big for most people (I got sized and found out I needed a 17 mm fitted insert).Update: I was having difficulty syncing my pumps to my phone and figured out that if you disconnect Bluetooth the batteries on the pumps last forever. I can now use these pumps throughout the day on one charge which is fantastic since I’m back to work full time. Just a tip for anyone annoyed by the short battery lifespan like I was!Happy pumping!
