Incredible project for the value. Took about two hours to put together. It works well, and is the real deal drone. Note, however, it is not like a dji, it's more like a wild RC project. Steering is much more unstable, so it's better to take it very slow and fly in indoors with no things to crash into nearby. You will learn alot... unfortunatley mine broke, when I crashed it. Only one of the motors broke so it is all fixable and functioning otherwise. Highly recommend.

Had a blast putting it together. Really fun. Easy to fly. Pretty killer deal. The camera is decent but really well done as far as teaching you about what you're doing and there's an ease of purpose to the design of the 3d printed parts. Impressed

Update, see below.EIELEDIY earns full marks for their customer service and design.They have outstanding customer service.My kit had been opened by customs. They opened every package, mixed parts together, lost some screws, cut 3 of the wires and taped them back together badly.EIELEDIY immediately took full responsibility and offered me the choice of a discount or a full return.I chose the discount and then discovered that the controller board had also been badly damaged. How did they respond?They not only immediately issued a full refund they also sent me instructions on how to repair the circuit board itself.These folks passed up the opportunity to gouge me for more money in favor of empowering me to help myself!Drones are complicated and EIELEDIY crammed a bunch of functionality into the kit; all the standard RC components, forward camera, optical flow camera, spare IO for obstacle avoidance. They did that all at an insanely low price point. They had to make some QC compromises to get there but they stand behind their product 100%.These two factors make EIELEDIY perfect for hackers, builders, and makers. They take care of the annoying and frustrating parts so you can focus on the creative parts.I just got another one of their kits and I'll definitely get more.Update: Since EIELEDIY completely refunded the previous drone I turned around and ordered a replacement from them. This one wasn't opened by customs. All the parts were accounted for. Nothing was damaged. Everything was sorted correctly. There was even a bag of spare parts.This time it worked perfectly. I tested it indoors and the optical flow is much better than I expected. Once I trimmed it, the drone hovers within a few cm of wherever it was when I release the controls.I tested it through the phone app and everything works as advertised.

Don't purchase this drone. The manual look real nice, but it is mostly stuff about drones and how they work. The assemble instructions are mostly photos. I did succeed, but had to make guesses on how to assemble. I had a couple parts left over with no idea what they are for.The manual says to contact their technical support directly if you have any problems. There is no phone number, website or company to contact.

Shipped super fast and I built it the same day I received it. I really love it. The user manual is great and gives you good information about the components. It's my first ever drone so I have already learned a lot. They even include some spare parts and tiny screwdriver. Definitely glad I bought it great project so far 👍

I have lots of experience in DIY drones, but this one is the only one that worked right out-of-the-box with no tweaking required. I was intrigued by the price - that's why I wanted to give it a go. It comes with led lights and camera and optical sensor for 60 bucks?! Go get it!

The media could not be loaded. I give this project 5 stars because it’s a great gateway into learning the concepts of drone components and building a drone. As far as price vs other drone build kits this is a steal. Although the material is 3-D printed with no housing the drone is pretty sturdy. Wish the camera angle was more front facing than down but overall quite impressed.
