Impressive Ceiling Fan with Lighting Exceeds Expectations
I recently purchased a Ceiling Fan with Lighting for my home, and I am thrilled to say that it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This fantastic product deserves a solid five-star rating for its outstanding performance, convenience, and overall quality. First and foremost, the inclusion of a remote control with the ceiling fan was a game-changer. The convenience of adjusting the fan speed, dimming or brightening the lights, and even changing the direction of the fan from the comfort of my couch or bed is truly remarkable. It eliminates the need to get up and manually adjust the fan, enhancing comfort and convenience. Speaking of the lights, the brightness of the lighting component of this ceiling fan is exceptional. It illuminates the room with a vibrant and clear light, providing ample brightness for any activity or mood. The ability to dim the lights using the remote control further adds to the versatility of this fan, allowing me to set the perfect ambiance for any occasion. In terms of functionality, the ceiling fan does its job flawlessly. It circulates the air effectively, creating a comfortable and refreshing environment even on hot summer days. The fan operates quietly, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere without any distracting noise. The blades are well-balanced, resulting in a smooth and efficient airflow that keeps the room cool and comfortable. What truly sets this ceiling fan apart is its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The materials used in its construction are durable and long-lasting, ensuring that it will withstand the test of time. The installation process was straightforward, and the fan feels secure and stable once mounted, providing peace of mind. Overall, I cannot find any flaws or negatives to speak of when it comes to this Ceiling Fan with Lighting. It has met and surpassed my expectations in every aspect, from convenience to performance and quality. I am incredibly satisfied with this purchase, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and impressive ceiling fan. In conclusion, the Ceiling Fan with Lighting has earned a well-deserved five-star rating for its outstanding performance, convenience, and top-notch quality. With its remote control functionality, excellent lighting, and exceptional fan performance, it is a remarkable addition to any home. I am genuinely delighted with this product, and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

THE LIGHT/FAN-TASTIC!
The old ceiling light and fan was too noisy; it rattled and groaned and looked more like it belonged in Downton Abbey than a suburban house. I consigned it to history and bought this very modern-looking GLITI unit. First, it's a lot heavier than it looks. It weighs 6.4Kg, but it's well-made and substantial. Assembly is straightforward, and the only mistake that I made was to forget to fit the lower shroud When I joined the tube to the motor (it only took 2 minutes to rectify!). I had to make space in the ceiling above the mounting bracket for the existing house wiring, as there isn't much space around the bracket itself when the controller is slotted in place. Be aware of this, and expect to have to make allowances for your wiring. Hanging the 6.4Kg lump isn't as daunting as it sounds. The tube sits easily into the bracket, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. I fitted mine myself, but two people would be an asset for this job. My home is fitted with Smart switches, and they work well with this fan, so you should be OK if your home has these switches. In operation (see video), it's amazingly quiet. I use a maximum of level three, which is halfway to maximum. I tried level six, but low-flying aircraft were complaining about unexpected updraughts! The light works well, and it's quite bright. I use the warmest setting, which is fine. All functions are controlled with the hand-held remote, so I simply ask Alexa to switch it on, then set everything else through the remote. A very good point is that once you set the light that you prefer, it defaults to this light every time you switch it on. Of course, you can change this very easily, but I like the warmest setting and just leave it there. The kit allows for two setting heights, and there are two rods supplied. One is 6 inches or 150mm (approx), and the other 10 inches or 250mm (approx). My house is old and was built in Feet and Inches, so I have 8 foot ceilings upstairs. I used the 6 inch rod, which gives a total drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the light of 16 inches/408mm. When you deduct that figure from the 8-foot ceiling (2440mm), there isn't a lot of headroom for anyone who is around 6-feet tall, so if you have your hair in a Mullet, you may find yourself break-dancing as you pass under the fan! Basically what I'm saying is that the 10-inch rod is probably superfluous in any modern house, so please check your ceiling height before deciding which rod to use. The lowest setting is great for me, and the timer function can be used to turn the fan off after 1,2,4 or 8 hours. It has reversible direction too, which is useful. I love this: in its own right, it's a great piece of kit. Comparing it to the monstrosity that it replaced has been a revelation!

Good effective fan
First of all, please be aware that this unit is heavy and will not be supported by a normal ceiling. I had to put a support between the joists in the loft to give me a fixing point. Assembly is relatively easy, however, wiring is not easy. It will not take a rose connector, that will need to be removed and a new connector block put in. It can be quite hard getting all the wiring and remote receiver in place. Once done, the rest is easy, the blades are bigger than I thought. I am 6ft and can just walk under it. The downside is that when looking up from below there needs to be a cover over the cowling (see photos). The fan runs very well, it is quiet and produces a good down draft. I like the remote control which allows speed, direction and a timer. The LED light is very good. Overall, I consider this good value for money. If you are not used to DIY, get an electrician to do it for you.

Good fan, easy to integrate into HA
Decent build quality, and pushes a lot of air. Well worth the cost. The (433mhz) remote control offers several features: light on/off, 6 fan speeds, a wind mode, direction control, and timer to turn the fan off after 1, 4, or 8 hours. FYI, the remote protocol is 4 bytes long. * Byte 1 & 2 contain a unique address * Byte 3 contains the command * Byte 4 contains a checksum, which is a bitwise NOT of Byte 3 The commands are as follows: All Off: 0x40 Light On/Off: 0xC0 Mute: 0x7B Wind: 0xE7 Fan Power: 0x01 Speed Up: 0xC4 Speed Down: 0x10 Forward (F): 0x30 Reverse (R): 0x09 Timer 1h: 0x2A Timer 4h: 0xAA Timer 8h: 0xFF Timer Off: 0x11 With a simple ESPHome device you can then send these signals to automate the controls, and easily integrate into HomeAssistant

Fantastic
I've been looking for a decent, modern looking white ceiling fan light that didn't cost a fortune for a couple years now. Glad to get this one on offer. It does look a bit like an aeroplane propellor! Took the electrician about 1hr 45min to install, including opening the box and unpacking everything. The first hour was that and removing the old fitting and trying to set up the bracket thingy that goes on the ceiling - he couldn't reuse the one that was there from the pendant fitting. He said it didn't come with any connectors, so luckily he had some. It does feel quite low, but the electrician was 6 foot something and it was a good few inches above his head, and I've got a standard ceiling height. It did come with an extension pole if you have higher ceilings which is clever. The light is great, has daylight, warm and cool settings. I've tried to show those in the photos. Even on the lowest fan setting, I can feel it in the doorway and it comes into the next room. I think I'm going to live under this fan if the summer gets hot again! It'll make it nicer for the dogs when I have to close the door when I'm going out. There isn't much noise difference on the settings in my opinion, and it isn't that loud which is great. It's taking a bit of getting used to using the remote rather than the light switch. It came with a bracket for the remote so going to get that put up by the light switch!
