Well this is soil, so growing with this would be growing non-hydro

Q: Can this be used with grass seed and grass seed fertilizer, or would that be too much fertilizer?

It can, and it's almost neutral so I don't see why not. Fair warning though, the last two bags I got from Spreetail were infested with fungus gnat eggs. Not sure if that matters for grass seed.

It's in liters, but if you need to know in feet a simple Google conversion. It's 1.76573 cubic foot
