This is a nice little switch for monitors between two computers. I have two computers that use the same monitor, so this is a great little item to have. It is very easy to hook up and works like a dream. There are three ports on the switch. One is an output and two are inputs. You just hook plug one HDMI cable to the output and run it to the monitor you are using and plug the two output HDMI's to the two computers. One HDMI to each computer. There is one button in the center of the device that lets you switch between the computers. There are two little green lights on the face of the switch that light up to show which computer you are accessing. The lights have a 1 and a 2 listed below them to identify the computers. The switch is pretty much instant and allows fast access to your different computers. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical at first, but this tiny device is big when delivering on its promise. It is positively tiny (right around 2" square) and yet it delivered a perfect image. I tested the unit in both directions, and found it worked perfectly when sharing a single laptop to two different outputs (one monitor, one a projector). I had a bit of trouble going the other way, with sharing two inputs to one monitor, but after unplugging the cable and plugging it back in again, it worked just fine. (I'd recommend having #1 as your primary device to avoid issues.) Again, rock solid video display (even at 4K), so I wholeheartedly recommend this little box.
