Convenient, discrete, streamlined and easy to pack in a briefcase, purse, or tote bag. The tab has three positions: open, closed, and locked (once locked it cannot be opened again, so be careful when closing the slider that you don't overshoot and lock it.) Once filled it can be permanently locked for safety and before disposal. Initially I thought it would not hold much, but actually has a larger than anticipated capacity. Good value and works exactly as advertised-- would definitely purchase again, esp. for lancet, test strip and pen needle Sharps disposal. Note that the bottom corners are rounded, so it will not stand up on it's own-- that would be the only improvement I can think of.

I’m an acupuncturist and we deal with needles all day, and sometimes we are asked to treat outside our clinic. So in those cases, we need a portable sharps container. This one fits the bill, just bit enough to fit my long needles, and small enough to fit in your pocket. The plastic is thick and doesn’t feel flimsy, the sliding flap secures into the closed or locked position. Beware as the locked position is really meant for when it’s completely full and you want to dispose of it. I made the mistake of not reading the instructions first, and locked it instead a of just closing it. But it takes just a bit more effort to open it again. Great price for 3 sharps at under $13 for all three.

These are the BEST travel sharps containers I have ever used. I have been a diabetic for over 50 years. I've used a LOT of sharps containters. For many years there was no such thing as a travel sized sharps container. I stumbled upon these a few years ago. LIFE CHANGER! Well made is an understatement. I love that it is red. I love that it fits inside my diabetic test kit case. I also love that the entire thing when full just slides right into my regular sharps container.

Fits well inside diabetic meter bag. Holds several used lancets and biohazard materials from diabetic meter. Easy to use, easy to lock once full. Great quality

These are ok for a few times... but I have never been able to fill them near their capacity before the plastic starts breaking down around the closing end. The pic here is just the last one i had, the 2nd one cracked bad enough it fell apart. I ordered a 3 pack, Each one has broken in about 1 month with only 2 uses a week. They would work fine for a short term use, but dont plan on using them for more than a few uses.
