I absolutely love the coffee gator, it makes the best ice coffee. No acidity and you can add whatever coffee you like and syrups. The coffee itself is very smooth and hasn’t gave me any stomach issues like most do. I love ice coffee but it gets expensive buying from shops. I don’t like the layer it leaves in my mouth also with the full fat milks and syrups too. Feel guilty drinking them. I have literally tried every other method under the sun to make at home ice coffee and non of them really worked until now. Simply fill the filter with ground coffee pour over cold water and store in the fridge for 12 hours remove the filter and give it a stir and you have the perfect cold brew to adapt however you like. I’ve raved about this at work, and feel I should get commission as now all my colleagues are going to buy too. 🤣. Cost effective, super tasty and convenient. Topped mine off with sugar free caramel syrup and skimmed milk and ice. Did a taste test at work the girls who had shop bought ice coffee and they all said mine was by far more flavourful and liked that it wasn’t so think like normal bought ones. Cannot sing its praises highly enough….. just buy it!! Also easy to clean and glass jug not plastic, looks smart and does the job. ! One more thing I like too is u can adapt how strong u prefer it by either brewing longer or simply adding less cold brew to your cup. My daughter likes it weak and sweet and I like mine strong and sweet but we get the same from one jug of cold brew. Now I feel less left out from America not being able to buy pre made cold brew. I wouldn’t buy it now anyway much prefer my coffee gator 🐊!!!

Honestly, this has been by far one of the best purchases here in Amazon. I loved the fact that this BPA free, glass cold brew coffee maker is so handy. I am not only having fun making the coffee but it extremely easy to make the coffee and clean it! This has been definitely a life changer as every morning I can now have cold coffee which I love as I don't really like having hot coffee too much.

Really simple to use. Makes great coffee. I think this is a really excellent way to try lighter roast coffees and enhance your coffee experience. For me the fruity notes really come forward making cold brew and the bitterness is left out. I would recommend more medium and light roasts to have those fruity cherry flavours. Be wary of levels of caffeine, it uses a lot of coffee.

This did not live upto expectations, fare enough it was easy enough to prepare so long as you add water very slowly but when it comes to pouring it brings the grounds up & it clearly states in instructions that I can leave the filter in when pouring

I bought this in order to try and cut down on the amount of energy drinks I consume. I drink the sugar free ones mainly for the energy boost and I've never really been one for hot drinks but I do like cold coffee which can be expensive when buying pre-made. This was the perfect solution. I now make up a jug of an evening and in the morning before work I fill up a travel mug, add a splash of milk and off I go. Fantastic little pick me up for the early 6am starts and much cheaper than all the energy drinks I used to have. Easy to use, easy to clean and no issues at all ... Perfect!

Il y a presque deux ans que j'utilise ce produit et je suis très satisfait avec la qualité de la carafe et le goût du café. En plus, c'est intéressant de expérimenter avec des différentes marques et combinaisons des cafés moulus. La seule remarque que j'aurais à faire est que l'anneau élastique à l'intérieur de la poignée ne reste pas en place et vous devez y faire attention pour ne pas le jeter par accident.

Hiermit gelingt mir mein Cold Brew sehr gut. Leicht zu reinigen und der Trichter kann gleichzeitig als Filtertasse benutzt werden. Der integrierte Filter hält das meiste Pulver super zurück und ermöglicht eine leichte Entsorgung des Pulvers. Bitte bedenken, dass der Kaffee natürlich am besten nochmal durch einen richtigen Filter laufen sollte, um die letzten Pulverreste zu entfernen. Und der Kühlschrank sollte natürlich auch groß genug sein, da die Breite und Höhe recht viel einnimmt. Die verschiedenen Komponenten wirken recht stabil und die Reinigung ist auch sehr gut möglich.

Ideal für Kaffee und Tee. Ich habe deshalb zwei geordert und trinke früh Kaffee und abends Tee. Schmeckt prima, ist gesund und die Zubereitung ist "klimaneutral" ;-) Bei Tee sollte man auf saubere Qualität achten, da kein heißes Aufbrühen erfolgt, das Bakterien abtötet.

Wenn man sich genau an die Füllmenge von Kaffee-Pulver und Wasser hält ist alles Bestens, Man kann jedoch kein Konzentrat herstellen. Also doppeltes Kaffeepulver bzw. halbe Wassermenge. Evt. würde so eine Art Adapter hier gute Dienste leisten, den man einfach ins Glas legen kann.

Ich trinke Kaffee so ziemlich in allen Lebenslagen und zu allen Zeiten. Ein heißer Kaffee im Sommer ist mir ebenso willkommen, wie ein leckeres Eis oder ein Eiskaffee. Und da kommt der Cold Brew ins Spiel. In freier Wildbahn schon oft genossen, wollte ich mir den auch gerne zu Hause bereiten. Die ersten Versuche (noch ohne dieses Teil) waren vielversprechend und lecker. Da ich schon einige Produkte von Coffee Gator habe und die in der Regel gut verarbeitet und sehr gut duchdacht sind, habe ich dies Teil ausprobiert. Anfangs war ich etwas entäuscht. Die Ergebnisse waren nicht so, wie ich sie mir erhofft hatte. Bevor ich dies Teil hatte habe ich das Kaffeepulver direkt ins Wasser gegeben und 24 Stunden (oder mehr) ziehen lassen. Das Ergebnis war toll, aber der Cold Brew musste noch abgesiebt werden und durch die vielen kleinen Schwebeteilchen dauerte das immer recht lange. Hier ist der Kaffee in einem Siebeinsatz im Wasser und das anschließende Absieben entällt. Man muss nur das Sieb rausnehmen, abtropfen lassen und den Deckel wieder aufschrauben. Fertig. Die Karaffe sieht gut aus und der Siebeinsatz lässt sich ohne große Mühe entfernen. Und doch waren meine ersten Versuche nicht so, wie ich sie mir vorgestellt habe. Das Kaffeepulver ist zwar immer mit dem Wasser in berührung aber ein richtiger Austausch findet nicht so statt, wie wenn das Kaffeemehl direkt in das Wasser gegeben wird. Das Resultat für mich: ich musste den Kaffee länger ziehen lassen. Je nach Bohne wurde der Cold Brew dann auch schon mal etwas herber. Es hat eine Menge Kaffee und Versuche gebraucht, bis ich zu dem Ergebnis gekommen bin, wo ich sagen kann, jetzt ist es lecker. Ich verwende jetzt einen Dark Roast mit einem Mahlgrad wie für die French Press. Ins Sieb passen so um die 80g Kaffee. Anschließend lasse ich soviel Wasser durch den Kaffee laufen, bis der Kaffee vollständig im Wasser steht. Nach 24 bis 48 Stunden ist er fertig. Zwischendurch die Kanne immer mal ordentlich schwenken. Also: Der Kaffeebereiter ist praktisch und sieht gut aus. Der Cold Brew ist gut, wenn man Zeit und Geduld mitbringt. Am Ende kann ich sagen, der Kaffeebereiter ist kein "must have" aber "nice to have".
