Got this to complement other Go Though sockets with a deeper reach. The idea is if access is limited I may have to use something shorter. Looked at product on receiving it and decided if I ever used it I had better be careful how much force I applied. For the money I expected more. Does not compare well to others I have that cost not much more.

Fit the Astra H suspension nut perfect, made the job so much easier, for the price just get one saves the hassle.

As about, better than messing with a Swan neck spanner.

The top mount of the front shocks on my car have a 21mm retaining nut. But you can't use a standard 21mm socket as you also need to hold the strut with a torx bit. This socket did the job perfectly - the torx bit fit through the hole of the socket to hold the strut still and then I just used a 19mm spanner on the outside of the socket to undo the retaining nut. Perfect.

I used this to remove the bolt holding the shock absorber on the coil spring, had to use a hex bolt through this to loosen it, and worked perfectly.

Good to have the right kit for the job
