Only the best got better! I wasn't sure about these newest Neutrik versions of NL4 speakON connectors -- glad I gave them a shot. I had to repair the ends on some 12-guage PA speaker cables. These connectors now use Allen head set screws where the wires insert into the puck. Easier vs the old ones. Once I figured out how the new ones go together...brilliant and drama-free. A HUGE improvement in safety, feel, look, and strength. Are they worth the money? YES. If you are serious about your equipment, these are solid a purchase/investment. Just think about how much money is spent on stage gear only to have substandard knock-off clones by not using REAL speakON Neutrik ones? I am confident these will never fail...and I am 56 and have seen all kinds of equipment failures on stage, in the studio, and at home due to poorly made designs. Solid purchase

At first I was a little annoyed at having to use a #8 torx bit to tighten screws, after using these and others that just use a philips, I now love the the torx, put the tip in a drill, you can crank these down far better than a philips, a little more spendy, granted I still may use cheaper ones for permanent installs but having to plug and unplug and repair and maintenance wiring, love the torx

These are great connectors for wiring to either 2 or 4 terminal Speakon connections. I am using them for my Behringer NX4-6000. Note: the connector uses a TORX T8 screwdriver to tighten them down.
