Good texture, limited taste.
I bought these as an alternative to Biona seitan pieces, having read criticism of those having a rubbery texture (which they do). It's true, these are better in that respect. However, taste-wise they are nowhere near as good - quite bland in fact. I'll stick to the Biona in future, cutting them up small to minimise their chewiness.
