I was tired of the wax spilling over when I blew out the flame on tea lights. This candle sniffer works very well.

And looks so good, solid item.

I remember when my brother was a teen, he blew out some candles on our formal dining room table and wax got splattered all over the antique mahogany. My mother was furious! Since then, I've been very careful about how I extinguish candles.This comes in handy with the candles I use. It is simple and black, not heavy. However, I do wish that the handle were a bit longer. I've posted a photo next to a pen to give you a sense of its length. When I am burning just one or two candles, this works fine. However, I also have a candelabra with six candles in it, and a longer handle would ensure that I wouldn't get burned as I tried to reach them all. The description stated its length, so I knew before I purchased, but I did not consider the "downsides" of this shorter length before I bought it.Please think about whether you need a longer candle snuffer; there's a good chance this one will be long enough for your needs. But it wasn't long enough for all of mine.

Useful to put my candles out without getting wax everywhere! Love it.
