After too many broken demitasse cups I went looking for something more durable. I was concerned about the acid in coffee creating a metallic taste, but as reviewers didn't seem to mention that as a problem, I took a chance and ordered these. It was a good choice!These elegant cups just hold my morning double espresso shots with enough room to spare that I don't have to be overly cautious about spilling. They look beautiful - nice form - brushed/matte finish on the exterior and mirror-polished finish inside. Zero hint of any metallic taste. Very little heat transfer to the exterior wall. And nothing fragile to break. Basically, they are everything they are meant to be.They seem to be very well made, but after using one of the pair for a couple of weeks, I switched to the other one. For the first time, I noticed that the second cup had a slight curvature to the bottom, which caused an unsteady wobble when place on a flat surface. Usable, but annoying. I assume it came that way, and I just hadn't noticed as I had put it up in a cupboard right away. I considered returning the cups for a replacement, but had thrown away the packaging. So I contacted the company about the problem, and they immediately offered a replacement (at no cost). Just got the replacement today, and it is as perfect as the first cup I've been enjoying every day.If you make enough of a product, especially something a bit complex like a curved, double-walled cup, it's not terribly surprising that an occasional one will have a minor defect. The real test is how the company responds and supports their products (and their customers). Given that one cup did have a minor defect, I couldn't have asked for any better outcome or response from the company to resolve the problem. I have all the more confidence in buying from them in the future.

I bought these stainless steel espresso cups as a replacement for the double-walled insulated glass cups I had bought earlier on Amazon. I loved those glass cups -- great feel and insulation -- both both broke, one while coffee was brewing into it. Messy! These stainless steel cups are great. There is no cup handle, but the double-wall steel conducts no heat. Very nice to hold in your hand. Not hot at all. They are also slick looking and obviously, they aren't going to break. Quite nice.TIP: If you like the "lungo" version of espresso made by the Nespresso machines, make sure to buy the bigger of the two versions of these cups, the 170 ml size. The lungo brew fits perfectly in this 170 ml size.

These cups are perfect for sipping plain espresso or to catch a shot which your preparing milk for a latte.Brushed steel finish doesn't hold finger prints. And interior bevel make them a snap to clean with a bottle brush of a sponge.Would recommend preheating prior to use, to hold temperature, which is recommended anyway to preheat most espresso machines.Would purchase again if anything happened to them, but they seem really durable.

Nicely made, seems durable which is a huge plus with my clumsy hands.I'm new to making espresso at home so I really need a clear glass to assess my skills. But they were so pretty and metal. Alas, not good for me so I returned them. Maybe when I came pull consistent shots, I will reconsider.

I bought these cause a friend had them and I had used them before. They're a great little cup that insulate the drink on the inside but prevent burning, or potentially freezing, your hands on the outside. I also like this cup because it is the perfect size for a lungo even though you can put whatever you like in it. They clean easy and don't rust. If I didn't like them so much I'd probably complain about the $10 a cup price but they're totally worth it.

The media could not be loaded. Never broke glasses again.I have bought a lot of double walled glasses, which are too easy to break. Sometimes it fall apart by accident. But Sometimes I just wanna wash it thoroughly and It break and hurt my hands…Now I can safely use these stainless steel cups. I can even throw them directly into the sink and wash them after work.By the way, even though my coffee stays in the cup all day, it's easy to clean it after I go home.

I was looking for a durable little espresso cup to have a cafecito at my work coffee club. They all use very small 1oz ceramic cups so this thing dwarfs them. I looked around for a long time before pulling the trigger on it too and I thought it was going to be a similar size but I was definitely wrong. It’s probably closer to 3oz. That being said it’s well made and I can just wipe it down and throw it in my bag without being worried about it breaking so I’m keeping both and not returning them.
