Great item

Had this for a while now and it's great. Quite cheap but the test trips are readily available having bought them recently. There's the facility to check it's still giving accurate readings.

I have borderline type 2 diabetes and having been in 'isolation' since 23 March, I have missed six monthly check-ups. At the same time I have lost 3 stone (19Kg) so far. Hence, because I'm still taking the same meds my wife suggested I monitor myself and pass the data (blood glucose/weight/bmi) to my GP by phone. This little machine is as easy as - put in battery, press set and insert test strip. The tester does all the rest and retains all results in its memory by date and time. It comes with an adjustable auto-lance for drawing blood and a self-recording book. This is a terrific piece of kit, well made, easy for me to use and worth every penny. I can highly recommend this to fellow sufferers. BTG

It works but how accurate the readings are is questionable as the machine / strips can be prone to large variations
