Cryptic Killers SUSPICION Card Game, 2-7 Players, Detective Arrest Strategy, 14+, Family Game Night

Great little card game and at a bargain price! It's a fairly simple game to play once you've learned the rules and played a couple of practice rounds. I've not tried playing this with 2 people just yet, but with a group of 4+ it's a lot of fun. The packaging states the game takes between 5 to 15 minutes to play but more often than not the games do last much longer, though short games can happen too. Would highly recommend for people who enjoy card games like exploding kittens

I got this game to play with a group of my friends and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the pack at the feel of the cards, as the quality was great. The actual game lasted a good amount of time as was a lot of fun and definitely got the brain going. I would recommend this game to either play with your family or friends.

Very basic draw-one-discard-one game.The theming doesn't add any value to the game whatsoever, and is entirely coincidental.It is so coincidental that the instructions point out that the deck can be used for other games - with it offering you a QR code to look up those alternative rules.This could potentially add value to the product, but realistically it suggests these other games are less saleable than this one and they didn't consider them worth including with the product.The rules are simple, easy to understand, and well presented.The game's very quick and straightforward to play.So for anyone wanting something quick-and-simple, that might be a positive.But it's also very facile - countering cards is a like-for-like system, which doesn't seem like it's particularly well thought out in terms of balance. It means the most powerful cards are always "just plain better to have" because you both get the benefit of their effects, and you're getting protection, and you're watering down the prospect of anyone else being able to use them too by not having them in the deck anymore.The same goes for the end-game mechanic where your opponents have to vote on whether or not you're bluffing a win: Because they can force a lose if they correctly guess that you've "won" instead of bluffed, it's effectively a coin-toss.So even if it seems like there could be some psychology involved - swapping out spare cards to make it look like you're searching for a legitimate win, for example - the complete absence of mechanics to this makes a lot of the gameplay up until this point redundant.It feels lazily grafted onto the product, as do all of the rules - which makes sense given how universal the cards functionality seems to be.

I'm a big fan of Cryptic Killers already, and also a big fan of card games. This is great- it's complicated enough that it doesn't get boring, but not so complex that it takes hours to learn and the rest of the day to finish. 2 player is always a bonus too!

Great game for friends and family very quick and easy to understand.Perfect size for travel and can play anywhere.All and all a great game and well worth the money.

It's easy to learn and perfect for family nights or gatherings with friends. We enjoyed how cleverly crafted it is, with each round presenting new strategies to consider. Even my 10-year-old quickly got the hang of it. It's compact, making it a great travel companion for on-the-go entertainment.

Perfect game for travelling, it's easy to pick up, quick to play, very portable and fun. Played many games of this with friends during our holiday.
