One of the best knifes
This is very very quality knife I can see why I have been seeing it hyped up online I got the d2 version and for only $37 this knife is a absolute steal it came razor sharp out of the box the drop point is perfect for piercing it has a very very solid weight to it and the handle is very comfortable the lanyard hole is a good addition it’s a nice size to where if you wanted you could use a bigger paradors for the lanyard the only problem I ran into was the screws holding the sheath to your belt backed out and almost came out the first time me wearing it to work but this issue could be salved easily all I did was remove the screws and put some loctite on them I would advise doing this as soon as you unbox the knife remove the screws and place some loctite on them and tighten the screws for the sheath back down the blade is very nice I love d2 it holds its edge so well and is sturdy for my purposes just remember to keep the blade oiled at the end of each day when you go to store your knife wipe the blade clean and apply a thin layer of oil I recommend 3 in one oil (which is what I use the most) tuf-glide,CLP,eezox,or even mineral oil is sufficient you would just have to apply it more often overall this knife I can highly recommend for $37 it is my first kizer brand knife and I will for sure be checking out their other knife’s the d2 one is th best value out of them all as I wanted to try out a lower coat quality option before going and getting a more maintenance free steal they have if you’ve been thinking about buying the d2 one you will not be disappointed I’ve been wearing it on my belt as a self defense and daily edc knife and it more than gets the job done the tip is a very very good peircer and the belly of the knife also makes it one of the best slashers or cutters I own overall kizer hit it out of the park on this knife 10/10 recommend

Great deal on a great knife.
Great knife. Very good looking. Blade came shaving sharp, and is easy to keep a consistent edge on. Perfect size for reasonable daily use. Light weight, and the sheath is the perfect size and formfactor to carry in the pocket or on the belt for daily carry. When carrying a fixed blade knife for daily use, I appendix carry on the belt or to the waistband of my pants. Keep this in mind if you're a big guy like me. The thumb ridge on the sheath can dig into your stomach depending on belt placement. I had to sand the edges and round them out to make it more comfortable. But that's a me problem, not a product problem.

2nd time around is 'full joy'!
no detent at all! seller said to get to try a heat gun and work with it maybe, but that didn't work. a person needs the proper tools to work with kydex, and i dont have them. If i were setup to build kydex sheaths myself I think id buy the blade I want then build my own sheath for it. A foldover sheath just like this one, but with a real strong detent for sure. The the foldover/taco style sheath is what pushed me to choose this knife in the first place. But its... its just not too good this time. I gave it two stars as a really like the knife. It's a big bummer. I must have the worst luck! guess it has to go back. Now the choice; try a second one or try something different? all the looking done for what i wanted this was closest choice. i guess we'll try one more time. what a drag! UPDATE 07JUN2022: I got a replacement. WOW! totally awesome! up'd the rating to 5 stars . This knife snaps into the kydex just the way you'd hope for. Very happy now. Not sure why some say its small, maybe they have bigger hands than mine? I wear a large work glove. I’m wondering if that last one was someone’s return that got mixed in with new as the two items were in differing conditions inside the box. But that doesn’t really matter as this replacement is everything I’d hoped it was to be when I’d initially chose it. This is perfect size and weight for an EDC fixed blade. I love it! I still wish it was 1095hc though. But D2 is much better than plain ole' stainless steel (imo). UPDATE MARCH15, 2023; I love mine so much i bought one for my little brother. I checked it, bevels are perfect, and sharp. And the kydex sheath detent is completely tight and perfect. My brother was happy with his birthday present!

Great Knife & Kydex sheath with awesome retention!
Excellent quality knife for the price - nice and spicy blade (decent sharpness). My hand fits the finger choil very well! The Kydex sheath holds the knife well. I’ll have to get an alti-clip though, as the tech-lok that it comes with won’t shut around my riggers belt! I have attached a photo next to my Bradford Guardian 3 for size comparison!

Well balanced all around
Perfect size for EDC and I love the belt clip. Easy to use, great value, I haven’t tested durability but seems to be a quality build. Feels great in the hand, not too large and not too small. Smooth re sheath.

An Excellent Fixed Blade EDC knife.
This review is for the Sandalwood Handled, Nitro V, full size Harpoon. This is a fantastic knife, and came wicked sharp right out of the box. The blade length is just right, and is very slicey. The spine is a nice and sharp 90 degrees which is great for striking ferrocerium rods. the sandalwood handle is beautiful and is just big enough for my 2xl glove sized hands (Though I may add a lanyard for a bit extra purchase). The knife when sheathed can be pocket carried if you have pants with larger pockets such as BDUs, but might be a bit big for smaller pockets and tighter pants. Also in regard to pocket carry, the thumb ramp on the sheath can be used to deploy the knife if used against the side of the pocket (may take a little practice.). This is very likely to become my daily EDC fixed blade. Over all, this is a very nice knife and cannot be beat for the price (50$ as of 5-6-2025)
