Osmo Patch

I have used Osmo Patches before for bursitis of the hip and I found them very effective. I have been diagnosed with Gout in my knee. I have been prescribed the appropriate treatment by my doctor, although my knee continues to swell. So I thought I might try the patches. It is too early to give a definite outcome. I used to order them directly from Australia and it would normally take 7/8 days to arrive in Northern Ireland, UK. On this occasion I ordered them from London and it took them 9 days to arrive in Co Down. The Pharmacy was very quick to dispatch the item, so it is not their fault. Obviously with the "Irish Sea Border" the delays are a complete outrage.

I feel like these shouldn’t work as I’m very skeptical of alternative medicines. The first time I used them they didn’t seem to work so well, but I had an injury to my foot. However, they have helped me now on three separate occasions get rid of swelling and I have to say I really do think these work for that purpose. They won’t ‘cure’ an underlying condition, but when the primary problem is inflammation around a joint rather than something torn or damaged, I would highly recommend these. I’ve seen significant improvements after three nights of use and will keep a pack in reserve for future needs.

Did no work on my knee pain ,not fit for purpose

My main complaint is the steep price (for 10 patches)My second complaint is that the Instructions are missing out on one key element: for the patches to work, some 'moisture' is necessary. Mpisture, in this case, means perspiratioin. 'Osmo' derives from osmosis, For osmosis to work, you need moisture.I put on the first patch (back of knee swelling) as instructed during the night. The following morning was clean and dry: no result!For my second try I secured the patch with pressure socks and did some work in the garden, working up a sweat. Kept it on at night and the following morning: result.The Osmo company do their clients ad disservice for their expensive products by not making this essential fact crystal/moisture clear to their clients.

I am 90 this year and the OSMO patch is a product I use to keep me jogging three times a week. Also, two appications of the OSMO patch cured my lock thumb.I recommend this product and the seller gave an excellent service!

Not sure if the really made a difference

I have used this product for several years to treat a Bakers cyst but always had to send to Australia for them so it was great that I can now buy them in UK and the service was fast and efficient.

Did not help with the inflamed joints possibly as hip joint is too deep set
