Purchased back in April. Did not use until after the birth of my son over a month later. Used for 3 months and loved the different colors. No longer turns to create movement of waves. Poor quality.

The rotation motor gave out after the first 2 months. Beautiful effect, when it works.

I initially purchased this to go in my bedroom, but I didn’t really have a place in the center of the room to put it so I tried it in a few places in my living room and decided to put it behind my TV on the little shelf-thingie behind the mount. I really like the way it lights up that corner. There are so many color choices to pick from on the included remote, plus four different settings; flash, strobe (they are very much alike), fade and smooth (also alike). The video is using the smooth setting. There are also brightness up and down buttons, and the whole setup is easy to use. I find the pattern relaxing and love the blues and greens the most. The price was right and I may get one of these for my grandson.
