Bought for my dog on our canoeing trips
I didn't buy this for a pram, I take my little dog canoeing but I wanted some shade for her in the canoe, so my review is based on that. However I'm sure it is no different to being on a pram. The umbrella material is of a quality and don't think it will degrade very quickly. The adjustment fitting to go on a pram! Is really easy to use. You literally un screw the knob, place the brake over the handle (or side of canoe) and re screw back up. I haven't found it to slip at all but j can't really comment on that, as what doesn't have any 'potholes)!Having said that, it seemed really sturdy and very easy to bend into position. So for my little dog, it's perfect and does the job hence five stars.

Not fit for purpose, don't waste your money!
Sorry but this was pretty useless. The umbrella itself is great, you can tell that it would block out the sun well, it looks a good sturdy material, black on the outside, silver on the inside. We took it on holiday with us but no matter how hard we tried we could not get it to fix properly to the pushchair, or to any surface for that matter. We took the Hauck Sport pushchair on holiday with us. We tried to fix it to every possible surface - the handlebars, the metal frame, the bar that goes across the front, parts covered by material, we even tried our other Graco pushchair back at home but it just will not attach properly to anything! The grip is far too weak and slippy, it doesn't even have a rubbery grip! You tighten it as much as possible but it just slips down from the position you put it in from the weight of the umbrella. And we tried it on different thicknesses of bars as well and with different surface coverings, including foam. The only one time we managed to get it to stay up was by wrapping an elastic band around the bar first then putting the grip over it but even then it only stayed like that while stationary and fell again as soon as we moved the pushchair. Also, from what I understand, you're supposed to be able to bend the neck of the umbrella so you can have it at different angles, we found this impossible, it was extremely stiff and impossible to bend. Don't buy it, it's a complete waste of money and they really need to review that grip, it's not fit for purpose.

great parasol, rubbish clamp
The umbrella itself is sturdy and well made and looks smart but the whole thing is let down by the fact that the clamp is poor. it does not fit tightly to a standard side bar on a stroller and keeps flopping over

Would definitely buy again
After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should get it or not...Cons..The bottom spring is quite tight so moving it around means you have to stop and it also tends to loosen the bracket when doing so.If the frame on your buggy is round I wouldn't buy this as even with the oval frame it does occasionally slip a bit (this could be from adjusting the position of the brolly). My LO likes to put his feet up and as it unscrews in the middle it came loose a couple quite a bit so needed to tighten it but would have to readjust the shade to get space to do soAs the bottom spring on the bottom is quite tight it doesn't bend round quite far enough to accommodate position of moving sun (I know the sun doesn't move) but...Pros..The top spring on the brolly means that you can adjust the actual shade to pretty much any position. The shade is big so you get great coverage on the whole baby!It unscrews in the middle so makes for good storage (I could get it in my hand luggage while travelling). The best things about this is the spf factor. I took it on holiday where temps reached 39. Out in the sun it protected my LO completely.Overall this was a great buy, despite the cons.

Great parasol.
We are really pleased with this parasol. It attaches easily with its clamp, adjusts to whatever direction the sun is shining from, and provides plenty of shade. It also provides uv protection. I also like that you don't have to undo the clamp when folding the pushchair as the parasol unclips from the clamp. Just like any umbrella or parasol, it is difficult to keep it steady in windy conditions.

Quite ineffective
This parasol, while good value, was quite ineffective used with a bog-standard Mamas and Papas stroller for use on a weeks holiday. Once attached securely the design of the metallic structure means it didn't really stay up without needing a hand to keep it in place and the plastic trim in place to protect the pram/stroller when secured came away after a few uses. It may work better with different prams/strollers but it was largely useless for me. When underneath the parasol, it was effective in blocking the sun, hence the second star.

Very disappointed - Parasol could not fix properly to Buggy
Very disappointed with this parasol. Had chosen to purchase this over cheaper alternative as I wanted something which would have abit of quality to it but unfortunately this wasn't the case. The mechanism which connects the parasol to the pram frame didn't work well at all.No matter how hard I tried I could not achieve a good tight grip/connection and the parasol was continually falling over. (Our buggy has circular shaped section tubes and perhaps this mechanism is better suited to oval sections but I would have thought circular was a typical shape). This had been purchased for our first family holiday and I got so fed up with it's constant inefficiencies that I gave up trying to use it after the first couple of days. It's a shame because otherwise the product seemed good quality. The fabric material has a reflective internal lining and two separate tilting points.I don't usually write product reviews but I was jusst so very disappointed and frustrated with this product that I felt obliged to in this case.
